Preston and Gaten were getting older, in fact, all of our kids were, and it was quite bittersweet to see them grow up. Of course, it was amazing, but it was so sad as well.

Preston's POV

Jackie, Casey, Joey and I were supposed to go to a party tonight, a Friday night, with some other close friends that weren't in our direct friend group. We were headed to our friend Rydder's house, for a party, but we knew it'd end up being an overnight thing, so we packed bags. We got there and got straight into partying. Drinking, dancing, smoking, singing along to the music, all the regular stuff. Jackie, who I had begun dating 2 1/2 years ago, came up to me and we started dancing. We were both extremely drunk, and we headed to the bedroom upstairs, and locked the door. I felt like we forgot something, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it...
