I had ended up kicking Lucy out of my house and I had hoped that she would stay away and that would be the end. It was around a week later when I came home from a long day of Sunday errands. I had gone grocery shopping, shopping for a toy for Dana, gotten her a haircut, and made a doctors appointment for Dana as well. When I got home, Ty was sitting on the couch listening to Friends while he graded exams from his classes. "Papa!" Dana screamed as she ran into his arms. "Hi baby love, how was your errand day with Mama?" Ty asked. "Otay." She answered. "Hey amor. Someone left you a message on the machine." Ty said as he gave me a long and passionate kiss on the lips. "Who was it?" I asked. "That chick Lucy again." He answered as he sat back down to go do the rest of his work. I rolled my eyes and scoffed. I went to our answering machine in the kitchen and pressed play on the last and most recent message. Lucy's voiced immediately filled the kitchen. "Hi, Lauren. I just wanted to talk about what happened. I'm sorry, truly, from the bottom of my heart I am. I never should have cheated on you in the first place. I was just so confused and I felt love and an intimate attraction to you, but I felt a physical and sort of sexual attraction to Camila. I was a selfish and immature brat and I never deserved you. I'm sorry, can we please meet up and talk?"
