Preston's POV

After a grueling birthing process, the baby was almost here, the birth and pregnancy were almost at the end. I was finally about to become a dad. Then I heard the crying of my little baby. The doctor picked up the baby and shouted, "congratulations, kids, it's a little baby boy! What are you gonna name him?" Dr. Elordi asked. "Well, I think we should name him Declan Michael," Jackie said. I smiled. "It's perfect babe, just like him." I responded. I cuddled up to them and admired my amazing little family. I couldn't believe this was my life. But, teen pregnancy isn't a storytime fairly tale land, not at all. And the next few years proved that...

Time Skip a few days (A/N: switching to a Hayes and Gaten story line for a bit)

Hayes' POV

Gaten and I had been together for years now, and each day I fell more and more in love with him. So, I decided to do something about it. After all, it was legal in all 50 states of the U.S.A now!

Gaten's POV

I was upstairs in the kitchen with my moms making dinner when suddenly Hayes came upstairs and took me into another room. "Gate, I love you, so so much, and I have to ask you something." He said. He was dressed nice in a tuxedo and he looked cute. "Gaten Griffin, will you marry me?" He asked as he slid down on one knee! "Oh my god, of course I will!!" I screamed. I was so happy.

Cathy's POV

After years of raising our children and giving every ounce of our focus to them, Alex and I realized it was our turn to live life, to focus on ourselves, each other, and our relationship more. All the kids were getting older and all at the age where they didn't need constant attention, they were no longer babies. Our youngest was five, and we realized we should probably get to living our own lives soon. So, we decided to spend the weekend away. We packed our bags, said goodbye to the kids, and drove up to spend Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in our cabin in Lake Tahoe.

Lauren's POV

Ty and I decided that the weekend after this upcoming one, we'd have a huge family dinner/feast at my house just to kind of end this era in an amazing way. I started planning it that day.

Time Skip 1 week to the dinner party

Cathy's POV

It was time for the huge family dinner party and my family was very excited. It was also the day that Hayes and Gaten said they had an announcement and Preston and Jackie would show off their new baby to the whole family for the first time. We all drove to my parents' house and got inside because it was beginning to rain, hard. Dinner wasn't for a few hours but we had heard it was set to storm ridiculously bad so we all came a couple hours early in case it did and we weren't able to leave our house. We greeted the family with hugs and kisses and then went upstairs to unpack our overnight bags since we were staying the whole weekend. We took hot showers and got dressed in warm clothes and Preston and Jackie put the baby in his crib to sleep for a bit until dinner. Eventually it came time to eat, so we all came downstairs to the kitchen to pick our food, then sat down to eat. The meal was baked chicken with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, with broccoli, and for a snack/appetizer, tomato mozzarella on a fancy baked cracker-like bread. It all looked, sounded and smelled delicious. We ate and sure enough, it tasted delicious too. In the interim between dinner and dessert, Preston and Jackie announced that they wanted to introduce everyone to the baby. Preston ran upstairs and got him while Jackie stayed downstairs with us. He and the baby came back down a minute or so later, and they proudly showed off their bundle of joy. "His name is Declan Michael Griffin, he's a week and 2 days old and he has gorgeous green eyes like his Papa." Jackie said as she cradled her baby. Of course I wasn't exactly thrilled that my almost 17 year old son had a son of his own, but I was so proud of him and Jackie and how far they had both come. Hopefully it stayed that way. A little while later, Hayes and Gaten stood up and said that they had an announcement as well, so we all turned our attention to them. "What's up, bud?" Alex said to Gaten. He smiled and allowed Hayes to begin. "Well guys, the other day Gaten and I were at home and we realized that we should move forward in our relationship. We've been together for years and we decided to get married!" Everyone in the house cheered. I was so excited, my baby boy was getting married! Hayes and Gaten shared a look and then Gaten continued for the other news. "Well, about a year ago Hayes and I put ourselves on the list for an adoption agency and we were just informed two hours ago that there's a woman in SoHo, New York, who wants us to adopt her baby!!" I started to cry and Alex held me. I was so happy that I was going to have another grandchild! Everyone else started crying, too, and we all had one big group hug/crying session. It was beautiful. We all got into our pajamas and got a bunch of pillows and blankets, then cuddled up in the living room and went on a Friends binge, starting from season one episode one and we ended the night on season three episode eight. I looked around at my family. I was so proud of them, it made me want to cry. Yeah, Preston had a baby early and Gaten was going to have a child young too, but they both made it work and proved it could happen. It all just made me so happy and I couldn't believe I was blessed enough to have this family. And to think, it all started with a crush on a professor...
