Ch. 40

Ty went to get the door. When he opened it, I was absolutely SHOCKED at who I saw. It was Lucy Vives, my psycho ex girlfriend. When I was exploring my sexuality in high school, before I came out as bisexual, we dated. I'd say it was closer to hooking up and hanging out, but I did at the time consider her to be my girlfriend and she felt the same. Which is why it hurt even more when she cheated on me with Camila Cabello, the shy bookworm Cuban girl who went to our school. My friends back at home - Keana, Alexa and Britt - had to comfort me for weeks and weeks on ends when I found out. After the initial shock had worn off, I was flat out PISSED to see her. When I dumped her after I found out, i told her to never speak to me again. Clearly, she paid no attention to that clear instruction. "Hi..?" Ty said. "Lucy. Nice to meet you! Who are you?" Lucy answered giddily. "Oh, hey, Lucy. My name is Ty, if you don't mind me asking what are you doing here?" Ty said. "Well, I'm here to get reacquainted with Lauren. I was an old friend of hers from high school. I was in the area and I ran into her friend Dinah. She told me where you were living and I figured I'd drop by and say hi, and maybe even chat?" Lucy answered. "Oh, yeah, sure. I'm Lauren's fiancé, by the way." Ty said, opening the door to allow Lucy to walk in. She went up to me and smiled. "Hi, Lauren." I stood up and crossed my arms over my chest. "Lucia." I responded coldly, glaring at her. Dana started whining. "Mama, up p'ease." "Hold on love." "Mama, p'ease, up!" She whined even more. I walked over to her and got her out. Ty came over and took her out of my arms. "Come on, babes, Daddy'll put on The Backyardigans for you. You can watch that, okay?" He said as he walked into the living room. Ty set Dana down with her blanket, pacifier, and TV show. He left the room and came back to see Lucy and I still just staring at each other. "I thought I told you I never wanna see you again. You're a fucking lying cheating bitch."
