The pains in my stomach were extreme. They came every couple of minutes and lasted about a minute and 20 seconds. Because the labor happened so early, we were granted a private room so we'd be more comfortable since the pregnancy was already going to be much more difficult, being that it was a bit over 3 months too early. We got into the room and had to wait about an hour for the doctor to come in. "Hi, I'm Dr. Hartman and I'll be helping you along in the delivery process today. I understand that you're a bit early on the pregnancy?" He asked.

"Yes," Ty answered for me after he realized I was probably in way too much pain and distress to answer for myself. "The baby isn't set to be born for another 3 months so we're quite worried at the moment." He continued. "That's understandable, but I assure you we'll be doing absolutely everything possible to ensure that all of you have a comfortable, safe and efficient experience here." Dr. Hartman assured. He then took my vitals and ran some tests before he again left us alone, stating that he'd be back within an hour or so when I was farther along. I was only about 4 centimeters dilated so it'd be a long time before we got anywhere. Once Dr. Hartman left, I turned to Ty. "I'm scared, Ty. I don't wanna lose our baby," I cried softly. He held my hand but once I started to cry he picked up gently and sat and the bed with me, cuddling me close for comfort. "I hate to admit it, but I'm scared too, baby. But Tyler's a fighter, I know he'll be okay." Ty said, and I felt a tear or two drip onto my head as he kissed the top of it. We sat there, holding each other and crying for a bit. All we could do was pray that little Tyler would be alright.
