Ch. 74

Time Skip 10 years (A/N: I promise there won't be huge gaps like this all the time)

Laurens age: 32/33

Ty's age: 43/44

Dana's age: 14

The twins age: 12

Tyler's age: 10

Lauren's POV

The past ten years had been quite amazing. Ty still had stomach issues and other issues surrounding his prematurity like sensitive ears, and he often had to see Dr. Perez for said stomach issues, but it was a lot easier and a lot more controlled than the past when he was a baby. Dana and the twins had just aged, pretty uneventfully but they were all amazing at anything they put their minds to and so I was pretty proud of them nonetheless. Dana had a boyfriend named Ryan, who was in her social studies class. The two of them started dating when Dana was 13 and I could tell that the twins had some crushes on some boys. I even had a sneaking suspicion that Maddie was in a relationship with her best friend DJ (Daniel Joseph) and she was hiding it from us. One day, Tyler came home with an amazing report card, so I decided to have a bit of one on one time with him while Ty was at work (grading papers on the weekend) and Dana agreed to take the twins with her and Ryan to the local park, DJ and Cathy's best friend Alexa (Alex for short) coming along.

Time Skip 3 hours

Lauren's POV

I decided to bring home some ice cream for the kids and pick them up since they walked to the park, but it was quite hot out. I went to the park and saw DJ and Maddie playing on the slides. Ryan and Dana were walking through the flower garden that was attached to the park, and Ryan handed her a flower. I looked over and spotted Cathy and Alex. Alex had her hand gently cupping Cathy's cheek, and the suddenly kissed!! My eyes went wide...
