Cathy's POV
I couldn't believe that they were here again ruining everything. I just wanted peace with my family and friends, my wife and kids, I didn't want this shitty life I was leading. I looked over at my dad, and silently begged for him to do something, anything. He nodded, gulped and got up, then went over to Alex's dad and began to talk to him.
Ty's POV
When I saw that Cathy was starting to get upset by Alex's parents barging in, I knew I had to do something. As soon as Cathy asked for my help, I got up from my seat and went over to Alex's dad. "Hey, man, why don't you lay off just for today, please it's their wedding, just go home, if you want I'll have Al call you after the ceremony. You're ruining your daughter's special day." I said, very calm but still firm to show that I meant business. He squinted to show his anger and moved closer to me, then shoved me backwards. Luckily the guys (Tyler, Chris, Mike and my friends) were standing behind me and caught me before I could fall and hurt myself. "She stopped being my daughter 20 years ago when she became a dyke. She. Is. Not. My. Daughter. And I'm not leaving because I wanna ruin her day, she ruined my reputation, now I'm known as the guy with the lesbian daughter down at the golf club. And I won't take it." I heard Alex begin to sob behind me after hearing her father's words. I got up and knocked him in the jaw for using that word, and he fell to the floor. "YOU DO NOT EVER USE THAT LANGUAGE AROUND MY FAMILY YOU SON OF A BITCH! BE A MAN AND HAVE SOME CLASS! NOW YOU AND YOUR WIFE BETTER WALK YOUR BIGOTED ASSES OUT OF THIS DAMN CHURCH BEFORE I FUCK YOU UP SO BAD YOU WONT BE ABLE TO OPEN THAT DIRTY HOMOPHOBIC MOUTH AGAIN!!" I shouted as I beat down on him. The other guys stayed to back me up as the girls comforted Alex and Cathy. After I was through, Alex's parents walked away, and sure enough, her dad couldn't open his mouth, just as I had promised.
