So the time skipped. It's been a week and the griffin family is moving their stuff to leave their home. Who knows where they'll go?
"Okay, that's the last of it." Ty announced with a sense of finality and pride. He had loaded all of the boxes into the back of our truck. I looked around the house one last time. This was my first home on my own, as an adult. I felt a hot, salty tear run down my cheek. I felt Ty come up behind me and wrap his strong arms around my waist in a hug. "Gracias, mi amor. Te amo." (Thank you, my love. I love you.) He smiled at my words and kissed me. "I love you more, my angel." Ty grabbed the babies' diaper bags and slung them across his shoulder. He picked up both Cathy and Maddie's car seats and was extra careful bringing them to the car, since the girls were in it. I picked up Dana and walked out of the empty house. I shut the lights off and locked the door. "Goodbye, old friend. See you in another life." I said.
