Ch. 52

It had been 2 months since Lucy's arrest. She ended up bleeding a lot and couldn't be tried in court until she awoke from her coma, which had been caused by blood loss. Ty was getting better bit by bit everyday, but he still had nightmares every night and had to go to a therapist every day. He didn't apply for a new job since he couldn't work form how bad his anxiety and PTSD was, but he was definitely trying and slowly healing. The twins were growing more and more each day, so was Dana. I was so so excited because I was graduating from college in a week! That week went by fast, and finally, my graduation day was here. Ty was coming to the ceremony with me. The best part was, I was valedictorian! I went up to Ty and kissed him good morning. His breath tasted and smelt like vodka. I looked down and saw he had a cup of clear liquid, which at first glance seemed to be water. But, because I had smelt and tasted the vodka on his breath, and because vodka is a clear liquor, I had a feeling he was drinking. "Babe, what's in your cup?" I asked. "Nothing, just water." He responded casually, as he took another sip of the "water". "Oh yeah, then can I have a sip?" I asked. "No, no. I'm quite thirsty. But you can get your own water." He said as he faked a smile. "Babe, I know you're drinking alcohol. It's 8:00 in the fucking morning. What the hell?" I asked, getting angry. "I can do what the fuck I want to. Jesus, relax, Mom." He said. "What the fuck did you just say to me?!" I started to yell. I heard crying. "God damnit Tyrone, you woke the fucking babies." I went to go comfort my children. "Fine." Ty said. "If you're gonna judge me and nag the hell outta me, have fucking fun at your ceremony cause I'm not going. I'm leaving. Bye." He said as he stormed out, slamming the door on the way out. I just sat on the bed and cried.
