Ch. 57

(A/N: a couple announcements and notices before the chapter. One, for now it's fluff from here on out bc as you know, I do think a story needs drama to me engaging and interesting but I've probably broken your hearts a bit too much lately so for now it's fluff. Number two, this is the chapter where Lauren and Ty are attempting to get married for the 2nd time so it's their wedding day. Lauren's POV

Today is it. Today's the day that Ty and I get married. I was with the girls in my dressing room when we got called. "Weddings on ladies." Everybody went to match with their groomsmen. Dinah with Cameron (A/N: wiz khalifa), Mani with Keenon (A/N: YG), Ally with Dijon (A/N: DJ Mustard), and then my sister Taylor as my maid of honor and Ty's brother TC as the best man. As the song 'Marry Me' by Jason Derulo played, all 4 pairs slowly walked down the isle in order, Taylor and TC coming last. Ty was waiting at the altar with the priest and all 8 members of the bridal party. I began to slowly make my way down the isle as the song switched from 'Marry Me' to the Wedding March. Everyone stood up and faced me. Once I got to the altar, Ty smiled at me and quickly wiped a tear out of the corner of his eye. "You look gorgeous mama." He mouthed to me, whilst blowing a kiss. I blew one back and mouthed, "thank you baby, you look so handsome." The priest began to speak. "You may be seated. Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to celebrate the joyous union of Tyrone Griffin and Lauren Jauregui, in hokey matrimony. Please join hands." Ty and I obeyed and held hands. "We'll start off with the vows, then move onto the 'I Do's' and the rings. Lauren, you may begin your vows." I turned to Dinah and she handed me a small index card where I had written my vows. "Ty, from the moment I met you nearly six years ago in college, I knew I was doomed. Normally people hate their Monday classes but I never did. Because you taught mine. You made every day positive for me. I knew right from the very start that there was no couple more perfect for each other than the two of us. You complete me. I'm never as happy as when I'm with you. In those dark days when I thought my life was going nowhere, you made me smile. You made me feel worth it (A/N: 😏😏😂😂) and you proved to me that I was loved and needed in this world. When I found out I was pregnant, I couldn't have been more happy. We have 3 beautiful daughters and we're getting married. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect life and it's all because of you. Thank you baby, I love you more than you'll ever know." Everybody aww'd in the room and Ty smiled with tears in his eyes. He cleared his throat. "Okay my turn. Lauren, you've shown me more of what it means to be a well rounded human being more than anyone else has. I know we've went through our ups and downs but I always have and always will love you. You're my person. I love you so much. You made me into the man I am today, and I'm proud to call you my wife and be called your children. Even if our children become HALF as good as wives as you are, their husbands will be pretty damn lucky." I wiped a few tears from my eyes. The priest began to speak again. "Lauren, please place this ring on Ty's finger and repeat after me." He said as Taylor handed me Ty's wedding ring. "With this ring," He said. "With this ring," I repeated. "I complete and truly devote myself to you forever and always," He said again. "I completely and truly devote myself to you forever and always." I slipped the ring onto his finger. Ty then did the same with me, repeating what the priest said as he slid the ring onto my finger. "Lauren, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked. "I do." I said, sporting an idiotic grin. "Ty, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" "I do." Ty said as he sported the same grin. "You may now kiss the bride." Ty gently grabbed me and kissed me passionately. Wow. I'm married.
