Cathy's POV

Alex's mom and dad showed up. After seeing their smug faces for not even 10 seconds, I was already ready to knock them out. I walked up to them aggressively, but before I could do anything, DJ and Ryan came up to me and gently held me back. Madison and Dana quickly rushed Alex inside because everyone knew she'd be so upset seeing her parents. My parent also brought the kids inside so they wouldn't have to witness anything in case some shit went down. I started demanding that they left, quietly but authoritatively, so Alex didn't hear me, but they knew I meant business. When that didn't work, I tried fighting to get out of Ryan and DJ's grips, and cursing them out. "We deserve to see our daughter, we birthed her, you know." Alexis (Alex's mom) said obnoxiously. "Yeah, you may have birthed her, and you may be her mom and dad biologically, but you're no parents. Parents support and love their kids, through anything and everything. They don't abandon them bc they like girls instead of boys. They don't call them unspeakable homophobic slurs and kick them out of their house at 12 years old. You're not parents, you just donated the sperm and the egg." I shouted, and they left. I went inside to comfort my beautiful fiancé, because she saw us through the window. We kissed, cuddled and went back outside to enjoy our baby girl's second birthday.
