Cathy's POV
It was another late night of Gaten crying and begging not to have to go to school anymore. Alex and I talked it out one night when he was sleeping. "I mean, there are a good amount of pluses to keeping him home, I don't work so I can home school him, so he wouldn't miss out on learning or having an education, the bullying should stop entirely or be mainly eliminated, and it's just easier on all of us and our sanity, you know?" I said to a Alex. We debated for a while, but ultimately we decided that homeschooling Gaten, even for a little while, would be the best thing for him. We told him the next day and he was thrilled!

Gaten's POV
I read the mean comments and messages that flooded my computer screen one more time. They were awful.
"Kill yourself!"
"Die, homo!"
"You're going to hell for being gay, anyway, so you may as well just kys now!"
I couldn't believe these words were actually coming out of human beings' minds. It was baffling to me that people were so hateful and nasty to people that they'd tell them they should kill themselves or be better off dead. And I wasn't gonna lie, I was starting to think that maybe I would be better off dead....
