Time Skip a week
Gaten's POV
Donna and I hadn't been able to stop talking about the In Real Life concert and meet & greet since it was announced months ago. Both of us were HUGE Lifelines and wanted to meet them so so badly, so we were really excited! I was mainly in Sergio's lane but would swerve into Drew's lane often, whereas Donna was in Brady's lane but would swerve into Michael's lane. Mama decided to take us, so Mommy would be home with the two younger kids. We drove to our local train station and purchased the tickets. We sat down at a bench nearby and waited for our train to be called. Once it was, we walked up the stairs and onto the platform, then walked onto the train and sat down. The train took off and took us to the station that brought us into the heart of L.A and we walked to the venue, the Troubadour theatre. We were told to stand in line to get into the meet & greet/VIP area, so Donna, Mama and I did just that. Once online, we stood behind a man with his two kids, a boy and a girl who looked to be about mine and Donna's age. They turned around and we introduced ourselves, they introduced theirs, and we began to have a conversation to pass the time. We learned that the man's name was Donovan Reed and his kid was the boy, the girl was his son's best friend and also like a sister, much like Donna and I. The boy's name was Hayes, and the girl's name was Angela. They were nice, but I couldn't focus on the conversation. I was too scared of the thoughts that consumed my brain in that moment. I couldn't believe was I was thinking. I wasn't attracted to Angela, instead I was attracted to Hayes....
