Alex and I were ready. We went to the high school to get ready for the parade. We had to ride in a convertible car and when the parade was over we watched the football game.
A: are you nervous?
Leila: no not at all
*my phone buzzes*
A: who was that?
Leila: Cameron
A: he's like obsessed with you, isn't he?
Leila: no he's not.
A: I still think that he is.
I looked at the text.

I'm excited to see you tonight! Good luck with the parade. I'll be there cheering you on.

Thanks! Let's meet up after the parade!

We walked over to the car and got in. A smile spread across Alex's face as soon as the car started moving. After the parade was over Alex and I went to the game. My phone vibrated and I opened it to see a text from Cameron.
