When I woke up Sunday morning I checked my phone and found several notifications. Most were Snapchat, but I had 2 texts and a missed call. I mean, the missed call was from my mom and midnight last night. But the fact that the 2 missed texts were from both Joey and alex frightened me a little.

I swiped out of Alex and I's chat and looked at joeys text.

Leila I'm sorry about last night

I closed my phone and went to get ready. I put on a hoodie and joggers. I walked downstairs to grab a snack. After an hour of waiting I heard the doorbell ring. I went to answer it.
A: ready?
Leila: let me go grab my phone.
A: ok
I walked upstairs and grabbed my phone and my wallet just in case. I walked back downstairs and walked out of the door with Alex.
Leila: So when are you going to tell me what we're doing?
A: when we get there
Leila: how long will that take?
A: well considering the fact that we have to walk, like 15 minutes.
Leila: fine I'll wait.
A: ok since we have a 15 minute walk talk to me about something
Leila: well last night I was thinking...
A: yeah
Leila: everyone thinks we broke up. Maybe we should stay on the down low for a while
A: that sounds like the smart thing to do for a while
Leila: So we will sneak around... no pda ok?
A: fine
Leila: no staring at one another.
A: seriously?
Leila: and don't talk to me in school
A: are you sure this is gonna be good for us?
Leila: positive
