"I'll be over tomorrow, okay?" Jackson reassured Genna. He had just gone with her to her ultrasound of the baby, as she was now twelve weeks along. Jackson had wanted to wait just a little bit before telling Sasha and Dean about the situation to make sure Genna and the baby were okay. Now that he knew for sure they were, he was going to talk to his parents about it.
"Okay. Thank you for coming. It means a lot to both of us." She smiled, hugging him.
"No worries. There's no one else I'd rather help during this and stick by their side than you." He smiled before thanking her mom, Rebecca for dropping him off at his house before walking inside.
"Hey Jackson." Sasha smiled as she saw her youngest son walk into the house.
"Hey mom. Is dad here?" He asked.
"He will be in a few minutes. He dropped Payton off at boxing practice. Is something wrong?" She asked, seeing her son a little nervous.
"No, not necessarily. Whenever dad gets home I need to talk to you two about something. I need to tell you guys together." He said as Sasha nodded her head, a little confused as to what was going on with her son. Just a few minutes later, Dean had came home. Jackson then sat the two down and told them the whole situation with Genna, making sure they knew it was clear he wasn't the father, but he wanted to be that father figure for the baby.
"Wow.. that's really admirable of you Jackson. I'm proud of you for doing that for her and her baby. It's very rare that a man would do that, especially at your age to do that for a girl. I'm very very proud of you bub." Sasha smiled, hugging her son.
"Yeah, I agree with your mom bud. I already had a lot of respect for you just for being my son and the kind of kid you are. But, you've earned more of my respect, more than I've given most people. I'm very proud of you son." Dean smiled, patting Jackson on the shoulder before hugging him.
"Thanks guys. And I'm getting a job to help her provide for the baby. No one would hire her since she's pregnant, so I feel obligated to work and help her provide for the baby. I have a job interview tomorrow down at the sports store. I just want to make sure she and the baby have what they need." He smiled.
"That's great Jackson. It's really amazing what you're doing for her. And if there's anything we can do to help out, just let us know." Sasha smiled as Jackson nodded his head in agreement. Meanwhile, Payton was at boxing training with Dustin. He was a boxer as well, the two being in the same grade and he was on the wrestling team with her. They were pretty flirty with each other, while also being way too stubborn to admit it.
"Dustin! You're gonna make me mess up!" Payton laughed as Dustin kept distracting her with funny jokes and poking fun at her.
"You make me mess up all the time! I'm just returning the favor." He chuckled as the two took a break, grabbing some water.
"When's your next fight?" He asked since Payton didn't just train in boxing, she also competitively fought against other girls all around the states of Texas, Arkansas, Nevada and Georgia.
"Here in a few weeks. Are you gonna make me a big poster or something?" She teased.
"The poster's already done. I was gonna make a shirt." He chuckled with a wink.
"Of course you were." She playfully rolled her eyes before taking another drink of water.
"Can I ask you something?" He asked as she nodded her head since she still had a mouth full of water.
"Would you like to go on a date? Just the two of us hanging out as more than friends?" He asked with a smile. Payton beamed at the tall, tan boy with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, face framed with a bit of a crooked smile.
"I'd love that. Just let me know when and where." She beamed before hugging him, feeling at home in his arms.
"Don't worry, I've got everything planned." He chuckled, kissing the top of her head.
