"I'm so excited! I can't wait to find out the gender!" Genna cheered as Jackson had picked her up. Genna was now twenty three weeks along with the baby, so she and Jackson were going to find out the gender. Even though she said she didn't have a preference of a gender, Jackson knew deep down she wanted a little girl.

"I can't wait either G. Do you have a feeling of what you think it might be?" He asked, smiling to her before turning out of her neighborhood.

"I don't really have a preference, but I'm kinda feeling a girl. My mom said with girls your more round and with boys you stick out more, and I'm round all around." She laughed as Jackson laughed himself.

"I guess if you wanna go off that theory." He laughed before they made their way to the doctors office. Genna checked herself in before she and Jackson waited a few minutes before she was called back and they began the ultrasound process. Genna and Jackson both got a little emotional at each ultrasound since they were so mesmerized by everything about it.

"Alright, it looks like your baby is a little girl. Congratulations." Her doctor smiled to the two, showing them the baby on the screen with the female genitalia.

"You get your own mini me Genna. That's amazing." Jackson beamed, loving to look at the baby on the screen.

"I know, I'm so excited." She grinned through her tears. The doctor then cleaned off her bump as the two headed out of the doctors off and to grab some lunch since they were both starving. Genna was a little nervous though while they were in the restaurant since she wanted to ask Jackson a serious and important question.

"Jack? Can I ask you something?" Genna asked after taking a drink of her water.

"Of course, you can ask me anything. What's up?" He causally asked, looking up at her.

"Umm, would you like to, uh, sign the baby's birth certificate as her dad? You've been here for the both of us through everything and you've supported us beyond what I thought. She deserves to have a dad in her life, one like you even though you aren't the biological father. You haven't let that affect you and have basically been her dad through this." Genna asked and explained, very nervously.

"I would love to sign baby girl's birth certificate. I would love to be her dad. Thank you for allowing me to do so." Jackson grinned, getting up, sitting next to Genna and hugging her. He was thrilled to sign the baby's birth certificate and be the father she would've never had without him. He was excited for this next chapter of his life, supporting Genna and the baby, even if they weren't together.
