Hell In A Cell| Three Weeks Later
"I can't wait to see you wrestle mommy!" Dustin giggled as he, Alec, and Payton were heading out to the arena. They were in Austin, Texas for Hell In A Cell, and the night would be great for Payton, Alec, and Jackson with their matches. Payton has a Hell In A Cell match against Val Rayne for the Raw Women's Championship. Alec was defending the Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat match against Bryce Ross and Jacob Adams. Jackson had a normal one on one match against Maverick Cade. They were all excited for their matches and couldn't wait to have them. Payton was also in the midst, towards the end of filming her 24 episode, which she was super excited about as well.
"Thank you baby. Now, since I'm in the cage tonight I may have some extra bruises alright? I don't want you to get scared if you see me with some extra bruises and cuts, alright baby?" Payton informed her son.
"Yeah mommy. I think you'll be okay though mommy." He smiled, hugging his mom.
"Thank you angel. You're gonna stay with daddy Alec while I get ready okay?"
"Yep. I love you mommy!"
"I love you too." She smiled, hugging her son before she and Alec said their goodbyes, heading to their separate locker rooms. Later on that night, Dustin was sitting out in the crowd with Sasha and Dean for the show. Payton was walking backstage, title around her waist before finding her fiancé since he just had his match, which he successfully defended the IC title.
"You ready for your big match babe?" Alec smiled as the two walked to gorilla together.
"I was born ready baby." She giggled.
"Good. I'll be here waiting baby. I love you." He smiled, softly kissing her.
"I love you too." She smiled, hugging her fiancé before making her entrance for the match. She was very excited for her match, but halfway through one of her worst nightmares happened.
During the match, Payton went up to the top turnbuckle, doing a high-risk move. When she went to deliver the move, she felt pops in her left leg; the leg that was injured six years ago during her boxing match. As she landed, she knew she couldn't get back up. The ref then called for the bell as Alec ran down to the ring, following all the doctors and rushing to Payton's side.
"I'm right here, baby. I'm not leaving alright?" Alec reassured her, holding her hand as she nodded her head. The doctors then got her on the stretcher before they loaded her onto the ambulance, making their way to the hospital.
"My leg hurts so fucking bad." Payton cried, having a tight hold on his hand.
"I know angel, we're almost to the hospital so we can get your leg checked out okay?" He reassured her. Just a few minutes later, they arrived at the hospital while the doctors rushed Payton to get some x-rays and tests done on her.
"Daddy Alec." Dustin whimpered as he, Dean, and Sasha made their way to the room where Payton would be coming back to after her tests. Alec quickly picked up the five year old and held him close.
"Where's mommy?" He asked, looking into Alec's ice green eyes.
"Mommy's getting some tests done on her leg. She's gonna be okay, I promise bubba." He said, comforting little Dustin as he also updated Sasha and Dean about Payton's status. A half hour later, the doctors wheeled Payton back in on the hospital bed as she looked exhausted as ever.
"Mommy." Dustin said, walking over to Payton as Alec helped him up on her bed.
"I'm right here baby, I'm gonna be okay." Payton whispered, hugging her son and trying to get some rest.
