"So come at me with all you've got!"

I stared in astonishment at Midoriya, a bad, sinking feeling warping my stomach. Was he, trying to get Todoroki to use his quirk to its full extent? Was he trying to do what I'd been doing this whole time?

Gazing at Todoroki through the media screen, I could tell that the Midoriya's words effected him, but in the bad way.

"You want my fire?" Todoroki cried out angrily. "What - did my monster of a dad bribe you, or something? Now I'm mad!"

The red and white-haired boy suddenly took off in a sprint towards the green-haired boy opposite him, now going for a close combat manoeuvre. 'He's now not thinking clearly,' I noted worriedly, watching with anticipation as the two battled below. 'He's so caught up on that fact about his dad, that he's abandoned all of his strategic methods to beat Midoriya through sheer force.'

My eyes widened in surprise, however, as Midoriya met Todoroki halfway, surprising the icy-hot boy himself. Todoroki was caught off balance, giving Midoriya an opening to hit him with a charged up punch.

'He'll break his other arm if he does that! ' But he didn't it, and almost sent Todoroki flying out of bounds again. Midoriya cried out in agony, and I quickly noticed that his arm was an ugly purple like his left arm.

"How did he not break it?" My disbelief increased at the sight of ice encasing his left arm. "Todoroki still got him?! Oh my gosh..."

Todoroki coughed and spluttered as he regained his footing, the anger on his face never faltering. Planting his right foot firmly, he sent out another icy barrage towards Midoriya, switching back to his initial offensive style. However, I noticed how much slower the attack was compared to his rapid-fire form before. 'He's definitely reaching his limit, but he won't stop! Not until he wins without using his fire.'

Midoriya easily dodged the attack, landing in just enough time to fend off another close call from Todoroki.

"This is madness!" I exclaimed as I rose from my seat, horror written all over my face. "If Midoriya keeps breaking his fingers like that, he'll never recover! He's probably pumped with so much adrenaline, that he has no idea how much pain he is in. And Todoroki! He refuses to regulate the cold in his body with his heat, so he'll end up burning off his right side with how cold it is!"

"This match needs to end," Iida stood up with me, outraged with the display. "Before this goes any further, someone needs to stop them!"

"Wait," I spun to face Iida. "The teachers already know this, so they'll stop it when they see fit." Iida looked as if he wanted to retort, but I locked my E/C eyes with his dark-blue hues, urging him not to argue with just one look.

"For both of their sakes, let this match play out."

At the sound a large boom echoing through the stadium, we all sat back in our seats to see Midoriya use his mouth to flick his thumb, and create a smash that threw Todoroki backwards. Said boy quickly created an ice wall, slamming into it with such a force I winced as if I was the one in pain.

"W-Why are you putting yourself through this?" Todoroki questioned, struggling to stand on his own two feet.

"I want to live up to people's expectations!" Midoriya cried back with no hesitation.

Both I and Todoroki flinched at the response, not quite understanding what he meant by that.

"I wanna be able to smile doing something good for them." Midoriya came charging at Todoroki - albeit struggling a little - not letting up for one moment. "I wanna be a Pro... Whatever it takes to be a hero!"
