"Aw man," I groaned. "I swear All Might made us do that last lap just out of spite."
Ever since we'd gotten back to school, our teachers had been nothing but brutal to us - both in training and in the classroom. Our latest punishment had been to do twenty laps around the school track, set by none other than the former Number One Hero himself. Twenty laps hadn't been too bad, but he made us do an extra lap because we were apparently, "Too slow."
As much as I considered myself to be overall fit, my body was now paying the price as I walked back into the dorm with the others. Seriously, was I ever going to not be in pain after exercising? Shoto never showed if he ever was; but then again, he was the one who had the six pack in the relationship for a reason.
"I know, right?" Mina whined, flopping onto the huge couch in the student lounge. "I mean, come on! Twenty-one laps at full pace at seven in the morning?! You've gotta be kidding me."
"I guess Mr. Aizawa wasn't kidding," Kyoka said, coming to stand beside me. "This semester is going to be tougher than the last, it seems."
I nodded, watching my classmates all file into the lounge to take up residence either on the couches available or at the dining table in the kitchen. Before I could wonder where he was, a certain red and blue aura made itself known to me before I could even see him.
"You okay?" Shoto asked as he sat down beside me.
Most couples, I found, touched one another to display their feelings towards their other half; particularly if they were worried. But Shoto and I didn't need to do that. All of our emotions were displayed through our eyes; so all I simply had to do was look at Shoto and I could tell. That, or I could just read his energy levels, no problem. It was a cute little connection we had, something that I prided myself on having with him. So, no, we didn't need to touch or hug or hold one another to show we cared - we just... knew.
Besides, Shoto wasn't exactly the kind of guy to initiate PDA in public. Especially whenever our classmates were around, the cute little tsundere he was.
I flashed him a smile. "Yeah, I'm okay. Guess I'm not as fit as you, just yet."
"Well don't over exert yourself, okay? Did you want some water from the kitchen?"
I simply nodded, giving all my boyfriend needed to hop off the couch and walk to the kitchen. My smile remained as I watched him grab some glasses from the cupboard, resting my head on my chin. Gosh I was lucky.
"Wow, Y/N. You really have him wrapped around your finger."
The sudden voice snapped me out of my stupor, causing me to turn and see most of the girls staring at me. "What do you mean, Toru? Shoto was just being considerate."
"Ah... he's been doing that for the past few days, Y/N," Mina added, her wide, obsidian eyes flicking between me and the kitchen. "What have you done to make him so damn whipped?!"
Tsu nodded in agreement. "Whatever happened on I-Island surely did it. He's been nothing but doting ever since we all got back."
A raging heat flooded my cheeks, and I hated to imagine how red my face was, too. "D-Doting? Shoto? No, it's not like that. Trust me!"
"Well, then, what happened?!" Toru cried, her P.E. uniform jumping off the couch and floating towards me. "And don't say nothing because it's so damn obvious something did happen."
I breathed a sigh in defeat. "Why do you guys have to interrogate me, so?"
"Because we don't want to talk about school and have nothing better to do before school actually starts for the day."
