It was like we were the only two in the room, the rest of the world fading from view as I fell deeper and deeper into Shoto. However cheesy, it was the truth. He was all I saw, all I felt, all I knew as he held me close. After days of not seeing him, of not knowing whether I'd see him again, I was finally back in his arms.

I was finally home.

"Uh... Ahem? Do you guys mind?"

Both Shoto and I stiffened at that, the voice breaking through the bubble of serenity and bringing us back to reality. All of my classmates were looking at me, looking at us. Some of them were blushing hard, others wore shocked expressions, and I think I even saw Mineta's nose bleeding slightly. That's when it whacked me in the face like one of Tamaki's tentacles.

I'd kissed Shoto - quite passionately - in front of my whole class.

My first instinct was to hide my face in Shoto's shoulder, feeling a raging blush crawl up my neck and onto my cheeks. I felt like I should've let go of him, but my limbs were so frozen in embarrassment that I just kind of... clung onto him. Talk about being a koala, much.

"Be quiet, Sero," Mina shushed. "They're so cute together, it's adorable!"

"Glad you have a girlfriend, Todoroki," Ojiro started, "but we don't need to see the mushy stuff."

"Why?" Toru huffed, her tone teasing. "Is it because it just reminds you how absolutely single the rest of you are? Talk about damaged egos."

I buried my face closer into Shoto's neck, letting his hair and my own hide my embarrassment. Bless Mina and Toru for their support, but the guys did have a point. Damnit, why was I so impulsive when it came to Shoto?

"S-Sorry," Shoto said, and I could feel his embarrassment flush up his neck, too. "Like I said, I'll be going to bed, now."

"Aw man," Kaminari whined. "Since when am I surrounded by geezers?"

"I understand Bakugou," Tsu started, handing Koda back his pet bunny that she'd been playing with, "but Todoroki wants to leave the party early, too?"

"They've got their Provisional License Training tomorrow," Kyoka explained. "But still, it is pretty early."

That's right, Shoto and Bakugou had that every weekend. Which included tomorrow. So much had happened lately that it had obviously slipped my mind. A pang of guilt struck me, making me cling tighter to my boyfriend.

Shoto readjusted his hands so that one cradled my back whilst the other held under my thigh, pulling me into a more secure position. "I know, but I really got to go to bed. Goodnight everyone."

Without waiting for a response, he turned around and started walking for the elevators... with me still clinging to him.

"Y/N, your bag!" Ochaco called, lifting up the discarded object as Shoto kept walking away with me.

"Could you just drop it outside my room, please?" I said. "I'll get it later."

Ochaco nodded in response just as the doors to the elevator opened and Shoto walked us in. He pressed the fifth floor button before returning his hand to my back, holding me close. Silence enveloped us as the doors closed, the quiet humming of the elevator filling the void. Shoto's head rested just above my chest, his heterochromatic eyes sealed shut to my own, as if he were sleeping.

"Shoto-"

"Please," he murmured, voice so soft and fragile. "Please. Let me have this moment. Just this moment..."

I wanted to ask him what he meant, but seeing him so peaceful and relieved made me rethink my approach. Instead, I let myself fall into him further, weaving my fingers into his scarlet and snowy hair and basking in his warmth and chills. His sweet, crisp scent of pine and mint consumed me once again, wrapping around me like a comforting blanket.
