"We've worked too damn hard to fail that girl, now. So go on!"

The path was now clearer before us - a solid hallway leading who knew where. Officers were picking themselves off the ground as I started walking forwards. Although I had no idea where we were in relation to Eri's room, a strange energy tugged at me. Called for me.

Eri... and Togata...

"You okay, Nova?" Mr. Aizawa called from behind me. "Do you sense something?"

"Yeah," I said, looking back over my shoulder. "I'm not one hundred percent sure... but I think Lemillion and Eri are this way."

"How can you be sure?" Nighteye asked. "Eri's bedroom may be that way, but we must be so far under ground it's ridiculous. No one else would be down here."

I shook my head. "I don't think so. In fact, with all this fighting going on, I'm positive Eri is no longer in her room. Overhaul probably has her, and is trying to escape."

"But that means..." Sir Nighteye's golden eyes widened as he stared off into the darkness that lay ahead of us. "Mirio..."

"We have to trust what Nova says," Midoriya suddenly spoke up, stepping up beside me. "Lemillion is going to need our help, and this is the only lead we've got."

"He's right."

Everyone flinched at the gravelly voice that was Rock Lock's, who was now being held up by another officer. The rock hero locked eyes wth me, his gaze unwavering and full of trust.

"It's the only lead we've got to finding this child. And if Nova says that that's where they are, then I believe her."

"Rock Lock..." I breathed out. I couldn't believe what he was saying.

"I'll be fine," he dismissed with a wry grin. "Just go get this Chisaki bastard and save Eri, okay?"

Nighteye hesitated for a moment, seeming to be struggling with something inside him. An internal conflict. But he soon lifted his head and gave me a single nod, golden eyes piercing right through me.

"All right, Nova," he said. "You lead. Take us to Mirio and Eri."

"Please. Just go help the others find Eri. Help... Mirio..."

"Right," I said, turning back to face the dark corridor. "Let's get moving."

A dreadful silence fell over us as we ran through the corridor. The only sounds we made were our footsteps clanging across the cement and our heavy breaths. For me, though, my heartbeat blocked out all of that, pounding so loudly in my ears that I thought my eardrums would burst at any moment.

We're coming, Eri. We're coming, Togata.

The energy signature became stronger, urging me to push myself to run faster. We were so close, I could feel it. There was no doubt now that the energy signature I felt was Togata's; leaving such a bight trail of sunshine that I couldn't miss. Others mixed with it, but it was the only one that mattered. We were so close, so close.

We rounded one more corner, only to find a dead end.

"Now where?" Sir Nighteye asked. "Does the trail stop here? Where have you brought us?"

As much as it was a dead end, I could feel the energy signature continue on. Continue on...

"It's through there," I said, pointing to the wall in front of us. "They're through there, I'm sure of it. This is where the energy signature is most strong."
