Chapter 66

"SMASH!"

The lizard-Stain-look-alike was thrown to the ground as the Number One Hero came smashing through the wall. Dabi let go of me as we all blew back from the force of the hit, hitting the deck. My body rolled a few times before the weight of handcuffs halted me, and I was fully able to stop, look up and see All Might in all of his glory.

"What the-" Lizard-man cried.

"Kurogiri. Gate," Shiguraki called, but the warp-gate villain wasn't quick enough.

"Preemptive binding..." In came swinging Kamui Woods, his branch-like limbs extending as he entered the space. They sought out the villains, binding around them so that they had no room to move. "Lacker Chain Prison!"

Out of the corner of my eye, Dabi's flames lit up.

"Huh," he grumbled, unimpressed. "Is that it?"

Fwoosh Fwoosh

I stared wide eyed as Dabi's face was met by the fist of a familiar, small, yellow-clad man, zooming in from the outside and punching Dabi unconscious.

"Don't do anything foolish," Gran Torino warned. "It's in your best interest to cooperate with us."

"Just what I would expect from a competent new hero," All Might said. "And a veteran pro who moves faster than the eye can see... You can't run anymore, League of Villains. Understand? Because we are here, now!"

"Right after the press conference?" Compress asked, laying stunned in Kamui Woods' bindings. "They had this ruse planned the whole time!"

"Tree man, you're hugging me too tight!" Twice cried. "HARDER!"

"One tends to neglect defence when they're on the offence." My attention was drawn to the back door, spying the Pro Hero Edgeshot slip in. Literally. "But we didn't come alone. Take a look..."

The silver-haired hero twisted the knob on the door before flinging it open to reveal policemen at the door, armed and ready to fire their guns.

"You're surrounded by police, not to mention powerful heroes like Endeavour."

I couldn't believe it; All Might and everyone else was here. Even Endeavour was supposedly outside. Looking up at the heroes I could see, my heart swelled. They had come to rescue us. 'They came... to save us.'

"Oh," All Might said, standing up right to address Bakugou, "you must've been scared, but you stayed strong. I'm sorry, you're safe now, young man."

Whereas I was smiling with relief, my ash-blond classmate seemed less grateful to see All Might, that was for sure. "WHAT?!" Bakugou barked. "I wasn't scared! Not even close!"

All Might didn't bat an eye at the outburst, and - in true All Might fashion - just flashed him a thumbs up. Whether from relief or actual hilarity of the situation, a chuckle escaped my lips, eliciting tears from my eyes. 'Everything's okay,' I thought. 'We're okay.'

I lifted my head at the sound of footsteps, looking up to see the Number One Hero walking towards me. He bent low, flashing his famous smile as he said, "L/N, are you okay? Here, let me help you with those."

All Might reached for my shackles while I remained still, stunned by shock. What was actually happening right now? One moment ago, Bakugou and I were in serious trouble, and now the Pros were here? My life certainly had flashed before my eyes, it seemed.

"Y-Yes, I'm okay," I said, flinching when All Might snapped the metal box around my hands in half. "Thank you, sir..."

"No need to thank me, L/N," he replied, but I noted how the usual bravado wasn't there. "We're all just glad you're okay."
