"Team Midoriya and Bakugou have passed the exam. All the matches of the practical portion of Class 1-A's final have now been completed."

Iida, Momo, Ochaco, Tsu and I all cheered for joy as we saw Midoriya pass through the escape gate, an unconscious Bakugou in his arms. To be honest, I wasn't sure if they would pass due to how out of sync they were.

'I kind of understand why the teachers put them together,' I thought as we all exited the viewing room. 'But still, that was a nightmare to watch.'

"Well, I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow, huh?" I asked, waving goodbye to my friends. Because of how late the exams went, Mr. Aizawa dismissed us from there directly.

"Sure thing, L/N," Iida replied, his hand stiff as he waved farewell. "Congratulations, once again, on your success today. Very well done."

"You too, Iida." I flashed him a grateful smile. "In fact, well done to all of you. I'm so happy we get to go on a training camp for the whole summer break together. It's going be to amazing!"

"Yeah," Tsu piped up. "It certainly will be loads of fun. I wonder what we're going to be doing there."

"Who knows. Anyways, I'll catch you guys later."

I heard my friends bid me farewell as I turned to leave, content with today's results. It made me so happy to see a lot of my friends do so well today, even those who failed. I felt how frustrated Kirishima and Sato were just by being near them, but I had reassured them that they had done their best. Going up against Cementos was no easy challenge.

And even though they all passed, Mina, Kaminari and Sero all were pretty bummed about how they personally went.

"We sucked!" Mina had said, banging her fist on the wall once her and Kaminari had woken up.

"We were completely useless out there," Kaminari had added on, his face contorting with frustration and disappointment.

It had hurt to see my teammates - my friends - look so gloomy, but no matter what I said or did, they remained miserable. Sero took his exam results pretty well, but still had a slight fear of not passing. 'I guess we'll have to wait and see.'

As I walked along the quiet street towards home - the orange sun resting just above the Musutafu skyline, I couldn't help but feel like something was off. Something didn't feel right...

I sighed sadly as I realised what was missing. Why I felt lonely. 'I wonder where Shoto is? '

I hadn't seen him since before I took my exam, having gone straight to the viewing room to see Recovery Girl and watch the rest of the matches. I thought he would've been there with the others, but he obviously still didn't feel comfortable enough to mingle with them, yet. Probably still just trying to work things out with himself first before engaging in more friends.

Thinking about said heterochromatic-haired boy, my heart rate increased, and that fuzzy feeling in my stomach crawled back up. It was weird, mainly because it wasn't there before. It only started happening soon after the Sports Festival, right before we went on our internships.

Was I sick? Was I coming down with something? Did it have something to do with hormones? Oh man, I was certainly not ready for that just yet.

I sighed, letting my body sag as I stared ahead of me. The constant whirring of cars driving by did so much to block out my wandering thoughts.

'It's not like either of us has changed much since we first met,' I thought. 'I mean, he's definitely become a lot friendlier, and a bit more mature. But, overall, he's still that fiery, stoic, endearingly oblivious, weirdly hilarious guy that I really li-'
