On the morning of April 13th, it was announced through JYP Entertainment representatives that Stray Kids member, Eunchae would be departing from the group.
Fans were shocked by the sudden news and demanded for an answer which was provided by Eunchae who shared a lengthy heartwarming hand written letter to her fans through her personal Instagram account.
Eunchae's letter read: "Hello STAY, I made the decision to terminate my contract with JYP Entertainment. This has nothing to do with the members of Stray Kids nor the company itself as I still love and cherish them very much. This purely all me and my decision to leave my past as a JYP artist behind to pursue something more than what I did in JYP. To my STAY, please do not send any hate to the company for my departure or the boys. I am sorry to those that I have hurt with my sudden leave but please know that I will forever and always will cherish every moment I had with all of you. Our memories will never fade away and I will forever love Stray Kids and STAY! With love, Eunchae."
