Son Eunchae, former member of popular boy group, Stray Kids returns as a member but not, as an artist under JYP Entertainment!
The singer terminated her exclusive contract with the company in early April, using her unoccupied time in finding her next company.
Many believed the singer would sign to JW Entertainment, Mayse Son's company as a soloist and member of PANDORA, others believed she'd sign with KQ and join her boyfriend and his bandmates at the company.
Early morning of April 25th, JW Entertainment, as Eunchae's current compant representatives released a statement in which confused many in how it has occurred.
JW states: "Hello this is CEO Mayse, Eunchae will be returning to Stray Kids as a member however not as a JYP artist. After holding multiple meeting between myself, mr.Park Jinyoung and our artist, Eunchae, we concluded a proper way to satisfy everyone's needs. Starting as of May, Eunchae will return to participate in Stray Kids activities and move back into the dorms under request of us at JW. Thank you."
After this statement was released, Eunchae took to her personal social media accounts and addressed the issue upfront to her fans.
Eunchae's statement: "Hi my lovely fans! I'm sure you all are confused as to what is happening right now with my career. After having multiple scheduled meetings between myself, JYP and Mayse. I was negotiated a specially made contract at JYP as well as returning to Stray Kids. Mayse, my CEO at the time, gave me a better option in which allowed me to return to Stray Kids whilst having the freedom of a solo artist and not be under the lease of JYP Entertainment. I personally signed with KQ Entertainment as a soloist only two days prior to my birthday and will be continuing my solo career there. Thank you."

basically, eunchae is returning as a member of stray kids however is not signed under jyp as an artist as i believe that isn't possible to do.
she is signed under jw — mayse's and her older brother youngjae's company as a member of pandora and have been her company representative until she signed to a company as a soloist.
she signed to be an artist under kq on april 21st as a soloist. all her music she releases as a solo artist will be under kq.
this means she is signed to only two companies just like she was before she left jyp.

also! i forgot to mention, the hani series was inspired by softylix and her stray kids book which includes her character being replaced and leaving the group to continue as a soloist — this was my inspiration for those chapters but added a twist to make it my own :)
