Part 83

Hailey POV*

"Everyone Go home, shift's over" Voight says walking to his office after a long conversation with the superintendent.

"Wait Sarge, I need to tell you all something" I say standing up as everyone is now staring at me. "What is it?". "Is everything okay?" They ask.

"Everything is great actually because I'm Pregnant and it's a girl" I say looking at Jay. "No way" I hear Kim say. "Congratulation you two" Kev says. "Thanks guys" I say as Jay comes over to hug me.

"My office" Voight says. I walk in finishing my goodbye's as everyone but Jay leaves the bullpen.

"How far along are you?" Voight asks shutting the door. "17 weeks tomorrow, but I can still work my doctor said 20 weeks is the cut off for in the field" I say.

"I'll let you work the desk and surveillance but no getting out the car, understood" he says sitting in his chair. "Yes sir thank you, but what about after 20 week, can I stay here working the desk" I say.

"If you'd like I can work that out" he says. "Thanks Sarge goodnight" I say shutting his door on my way out his office.

"What'd he say" Jay asks handing me my jacket. "He said I can work the desk and do surveillance work, nothing in the field." I say as we walk out.

After picking up Ryder and food we head home back to the apartment. "Hey I'm going to shower first" I say walking into the bedroom.

Jay POV*

While Hailey's in the shower her phone goes off. I answer the phone and it's Mary. "You got the house" she says. "We did" I say in shock. "Yup it's yours congrats you two" she says. "Wow" I say. "You'll need to come back in a months to sign some papers and it's official yours" she says. "Thank so much" I say smiling.

"What was that about?" Hailey asks stepping out the room to grab her food.

"We got the house" I say smiling. "Really" she says as I nod.

I walk over to her engulfing her in a bear hug, it takes her a second to realize before she hugs be back. As we're hug a tiny set of arms wrap around our legs. "Why you happy?" Ryder says as I lift him up.

"We're moving to a house buddy" Hailey says. "I don't want to move, like it here" he says pouting. "You'll have a big backyard to play in and there's an even bigger park there" Hailey says. "Okay" he says squirming so I put him down.

After Hailey eats and Ryder is asleep, we both go to bed. "You ready for this, our new life together?" Hailey asks yawning. "Definitely" I say kissing her head as we fall asleep in each others arms.

I know this one was short and not as good as you hoped, but I'm posting a new one tomorrow. It is going to be sad but good and heartbreaking, but sweet. Like lots of mixed emotions all in one part.
