Part 58

Hailey POV*

After we put Ry to bed Jay and I take out all the presents we got him, Amira, and Auggie. Jay walks down to the car to grabs the bags while I set up the rapping paper and tape. When he gets back we start rapping the gifts. As we start rapping I look over at Jay and he is struggling. "Have you done this before" I say. He takes a big breath and says "Yeah is it that obvious" he says. "maybe just a little" I say laughing and try to help him fix the ones he messed up. " don't forget to label some of Ry's with Santa's name on it" I say looking down at the box with a bunch of Amira's favorite soccer plays from the Chicago Red Stars and the USWNT.   Once I finish rapping Amira and Auggie's presents, I grab what's left of Ry's gifts. After rapping all the gifts we put them under the small tree we got. When we finish with all the presents it's 9:30, so we head to bed.

Jay POV*

The next morning we get up and I have breakfast together. "Hey Hailey I have that thing today so I have to leave but it won't take long." I say getting up from the table to brush my teeth so I can leave. " Bye Hails, bye buddy" I say on my way out. "Bye- bye daddy" I hear Ry say before I shut the door.  Once I get to the jewelry store I head inside. I walk in and walk to the front desk. "Hi "I'm Jay Halstead I got a call that my order is ready to be pickup." I say to the girl there. "Oh I'm Iris and it's in the back" she say walking toward the back to get it. When she comes back she shows me my order the I give her the package number so she knows that its mine. Then I walk out the store and go to Adams house. I ring the door bell and wait for him to let me in. "Hey man what's up" he says. "you look like you just got up" I say. " Hey Adam did you get rid of them" a women says. "Is that -" I say before I'm cut of by. "Jay?" Kim says. "Oh hey Kim" I say laughing. " Shut up and what do you need" Adam says. " I just need you to hold on to this gift I got for Hailey" I say handing him the box. "What's in it" Kim asks. "You'll find out at the after Christmas" I say. "Why can't you just hide it in a draw at your place" Adam says wiping his eyes. " I would but Ry likes to open everything to see what's inside, can't let Hailey see what I got her" I say. "Okay thanks you for holding on to this, I gotta get back to Hailey thanks and sorry for interrupting that" I say opening the door to leave.

Hailey POV*

I was doing the dishes when Jay gets home. "Hey Babe" he says. "Hey how was the appointment" I ask. "good" is all he says. "...... Okay well I call Annalise and she said that we could drop off the gift tomorrow morning before work she said that Amira is awake before six" I say. "Okay" he says whispers into my ear.
