Part 35

Amira POV*

It's now 10 am and mom still Isn't back yet. She said she was be here by 7 but she's 3 hours late. Every time foot step walk in the direction of the room  me and August lift our head up just to be let down. Then we here a knock at the door " come in"  Hailey says. When mama walk in Jay walk over to Auggie to help him down from the bed. While I grab my phone and put it in my pants pocket. I grab Auggie's jacket and help him put it on. Then we say our good byes because mom is tired. Auggie goes first by giving Hailey, Jay, and Ryder big hugs. "Bye Auggie" Ry says. Then it my turn I give Jay a short and sweet hug, Then I hug Hailey, and I don't know what came over me but tears came rushing down my face. When we pull apart Hailey sees then and wipes them away with her thumb. " Hey it's okay" she says. "You have my card if you need anything, you can call me day or night to talk or whatever you want." she say as a tear falls down from her face. We give each other on last hug before I walk out of the room and back home.

Hailey POV*

When we get home it's lunch time so Jay make Ry a sandwich in the shape of a dinosaur while I'm in the shower. When everyone is done showering Ry makes me and Jay watch some Lego Jurassic World show until its time to trick or treat. About two episode in Ry is already asleep so Jay takes him to his room. 

When Jay comes back I bring out his Halloween. " Jay come out of the room let me see you costume" I say laughing. " No I can't believe you bought me this I look stupid" she say. Took some convincing with sex but e came out  of the room. "I love it hold let me get my phone " I say as I walk to the counter where my phone. I take a couple photos then around 6pm I walk to Ry's room. I open his door to see him play firetrucks that Joe and Ritter for his birthday. 

" Come on bud it's costume time." I say as he gets up from play to let me put his costume on. Once I put it on him, he runs out to show Jay and stop when he looks at him. "woah, mommy Jays a dinosaur" said Ryder. " I know baby" come on grab you bucket and lets go" I says. Ry comes back to put on his shoe and grabs the card that he made for Estella so we can mail it to Virginia where she now lives with her son, daughter-in-law and grandkids. "Wait before you go trick or treating let me get a picture of you two" I say. the stand together I get some pictures then we head out the door.

We walk around the building knocking on the door for candy and pass other kids with the parents. We get back to my apartment so that jay can take off his costume and we walk down the stairs to the mail room put the card in the mail slot. We walk back to the apartment Ry goes straight to his room to play again while me and Jay drink some whiskey.
