Part 45

Hailey POV*

It's the day of thanksgiving day. Jay get gets up at 7 am to go for a run while me and Ry sleep. He get back from his run at 8: 30-ish and takes a shower to wash the I just got back from a run smell off himself. I wake up to the water running the the bathroom. When he walks out the bathroom with sweatpants on and with no shirt. "You look hot" I say. " Yeah" he say stepping closer to me, making our faces inches apart. "Mommy, Jay" Ryder screams from his room. I get up from the bed and walk to the door. "Aren't you coming he called your name too" I say walk into Ry's room. He put on his shirt and walk to Ry's room.

"Hey bud what wrong" Jay say. "There's a monster under my bed!" he say. "Baby there's no such thing as monster" I say. "But Jay can check while mommy goes back to sleep" I say walking out of his room and back to bed. "Really Hailey". "yup" Jay hears me say.  I look down under his small bed and find nothing there, "Hey bud there's nothing there" I say getting up off the floor. Then I feel a hand hold on to my pants." Yeah". "Can you stay with me, please" he say softly. "Yeah, I can" I say sitting down onto his bed as he rest his head on my chest.

Jay POV*

When I wake up I go to the kitchen and check the time, it's 11 am. I walk back into Ry's room and wake him up, he looks super tired. "Hey you wanna do something fun" I say thinking of a way to get back at Hailey. He holds my hand and walk to the bedroom door, "Now you have to be super quiet until I say go then you can jump on the bed, Okay" I say looking down to see his finger in front of his face. I open the door, lift Ry up and set him on the opposite side of sleeping Hailey. Then I walk to the side where Hailey is sleeping and say "GO". "Mommy, mommy wake up, wake up" Ry repeats over and over as he jumps up and down on the bed. I see Hailey open her eyes and reach up to pull Ry down to her. Then Ry starts laughing which makes me and Hailey laugh too. Then Hailey turns towards me and mouths a curse word to me. Hailey gets up and eat breakfast by 11:30. Hailey is making pumpkin pie while I'm making stuffing. When I finish making the stuffing I look over a Ry try to climb the counter to get to the pie. "Get down Ry" I tell him as he jumps down.

Hailey POV*

When both me and Jay finish cooking he cleans up while I go get Ryder and I dressed. I put Ry in some light gray pants, a white and dark blue long sleeve flannel button down shirt, a orange beanie, and dark gray timberland shoes. Then I let him play while I put on dark Jeans and a dark green sweater with black combat boots on. Then Jay walks in, get dressed. "Hailey come one it 4:30 we gotta go so we can pick up Amira and Auggie" he says. "Okay okay just help Ry put on his coat and I'll be ready, oh and make sure he pees too" I say as he walks out the room. I finish curling my hair then put back on my shoe and walk out the room. " Okay I'm ready to go now" I say opening the door and grabbing Ry's and Jay's hand.

We get to Amira and Auggie's neighbor hood and we go to their apartment. All of us get out the car and Jay hold Ry while we walk up the stairs and to the second floor. I knock on the door and wait for them to answer. I hear the locks on the door and see Auggie's peek his little through the side of the door. " Hey Auggie can we come in" I say as he shut the door just to open it up again.
