Jay POV*

After the Vanessa was sent to Voight's office Hailey and I leave. I put Ryder in his car seat then I get in the car. " I saw your face when Ry said baby you weren't surprised" I say. She gives me a smirk. " You knew about it didn't you" I say. " Yes but she told me not to tell anyone" she says. " Well your a good friend" I say. We get back to her place she puts Ry to bed. When she walks back out she say " So Ry's asleep" she says with grin as she take me to  her room and shuts the door.

Hailey POV*

The next morning I wake up at 8 am and I lift my hand to the other side of the bed to find Jay but he's not there. So I put on a  gray long sleeve shirt and dark jeans. I walked to Ry's room but he's not there too, so I walk into the kitchen to find a note from Jay . Ry and I went to get you a surprise don't worry- Jay. After I read the note I walk back to my room get dressed then turn on the TV and wait for whatever my surprise is.

Jay POV*

"We're back" I say as I open the door with coffee and waffles in hand. As I put the food and drinks down, I see Hailey get up and come close to me. " You got me breakfast from that diner down the street, thanks babe" she say before kissing me passionately. " Mommy gross" Ryder says pulling Hailey's shirt up and down. When I pull apart from Hailey, I pick up Ry and flip him upside down. " Put me down" he say while laughing. Without me knowing Hailey grabs her phone and snaps a picture of us. Then we sit down and eat together as a family. " Are you my dad?" Ry say which make me choke on my waffles. " What ". " Are you my dad because Zhuri said that his dad sleeps in the same room as his mom and you and mommy sleep in the same room too".  I look at Hailey pleading for her to answer the question. " baby finish eating" is all she says. " Do I even have a dad"  he says.  That's when Hailey gets up and walk to the bedroom.

The ride to work was quiet  I let Hailey and Ry go in first then I would walk in after her. We walk up to the bullpen and it's just Kim, Adam, Kevin, Hailey, and I  there. " Where's Vanessa" Hailey asks Kevin as they walk into the breakroom. " Why do you think I know" he reply's. " Because she told me about you two and did you make sure she scheduled her OB appointment for next week" Hailey says. " Vanessa is at her place sleeping ,yes we did scheduled an appointment that this morning. Vanessa told me about you and Ry taking her to the appointments so thank you for doing that but if it's okay can I go to the next one?" Kevin says. " Yeah sure I was just going with here until she told you" Hailey says walking out. Apart of me was going to miss hangout with Vanessa out of work but I know that she can do this with just her and Kev.

After we finish our paperwork Hailey and I leave and she drops me off at my apartment. " Says bye to Jay, Ry" she says. " Bye Jay". " Hey bye buddy be good for you mom" then he walks over to my side of the car. " Bye babe see you Monday" He say before giving me a kiss on the cheek " and Hailey I love you" He says walking away.
