Part 82

Jay POV*

"Ryder wake up, bud" I say rubbing his back. He gets out of bed and we start on breakfast. "Hey bud you know what day it is?" I ask moving the freshly cooked French toast to the plate. "Mommy's day" he say playing with the left over flour. "Yeah Mothers day, it means we have to be extra good for Mommy, Okay" I say. I finish up cooking breakfast and plating the break. I had Ry the flowers I got early that morning, I hold the tray of food while we walk in to the bedroom. I turn on the lights and Hailey's not there. "Where's mommy?" Ry asks as the sound of someone throwing up erupts from the bathroom. I put the tray down on the dresser and walk into the bathroom shutting the door behind me.

"Babe" I say softly moving the hair from her face as she gets sick again. I tie her hair back with a hair, then wet a cold cloth to put behind her neck. "I'm Okay really" she says getting up to quickly making her lose her balance. "Just let me help, please" I say as she nods. I help her back into her side of the bed. "What's all this" she says pulling the sheets up to her waist. "Happy Mommy day, Mommy" Ryder say handing her the flower's. "Thank you baby, I love them" she say kissing his head. "Daddy made you breakfast" he says crawling in to bed with her. 

I walk over with the tray of food placing it in front of her. "Jay I-" she starts. "I know but you need to eat something for the baby" I say. "Mommy doesn't have a baby" Ry say smiling. "Mommy has a baby in her tummy, like Aunt Nessa did" She says. "But your not fat" He says making me smirk. He lift up Hailey's shirt so her stomach is showing. "There's not a lot there" He say tapping her little but growing stomach. "It'll grow over time, now let mom eat" I say. "How much time?" Ry asks. "Just a few more months" she say kissing my head. "Thank you" she whispers before turn back to the food, that Ryders now eating. "Bud that's moms food you just ate" I say as he takes another bite. "Let eat if he's hungry" she says. "You need to eat Hails" I say moving closer to her on the bed. "What I need is my boys" she says running a hand through Ryder's hair and giving me a kiss.

Hailey POV*

After eat the left over scrapes that Ry left we leave for work. "I think you should tell Voight" Jay says getting back in the car after dropping Ry off. "Where this coming from" I say moving my hand to caress his face. "I just your four month's into this and I want to make sure you and the baby are safe" he says. "I'll tell him, soon I promise" I say. we get to the bullpen and no one's there, but there's something on my desk. "What is it?" Jay says as I pick it up. "did you get one" I asks looking over at his desk. "No but there's one on Vanessa's desk too" he says as I open it. I open the cards and it has a nice message on it with two tickets taped to the side with no writing on it.

 "What?" he says as I walk into Voight office. "It's fancy dinner reservations from Voight" i say knocking on the door. "Upton, what can I do for ya" he says stepping out his office. "We can't accept this" I say handing him the tickets. "It's already paid for in your names. Just take it and enjoy a night out. Happy Mother's day Upton" he says about to walk into his office. "wait Sarge" I say looking at Jay. Now both their eye's are on me, as I hear the gate open. "I'm ... really excited for the dinner, thanks" I say as he shuts door to his office. I take a seat at my desk, starting on my work. Then I hear my phone go off, and it's a text from Jay.

Jay: You chickened out

Hailey: The team was right there, they could've heard.

Jay: There gonna find out anyways why not just tell them. You would be able to hide it for long.
