Part 79

Amira POV*

"You sure you'll be okay with Hailey and Jay" Mami says. "Mami, me an Auggie will be fine we've done this before" I say trying to calm her down. "I know but never overnight, this is different baby. You know your brother has epilepsy now, maybe I'll just cancel my two shifts and stay home" she says as the door bell rings. I get the door while she finishes packing Auggie's bag of medicine." Finally she spinning out" I say letting them. "She's just worried about your brother" Jay says walking in with Hailey. "Jay!" Auggie says running out his room. "I'll get my stuff" I say walking back to my room to grab my bags. I grab my backpack and my soccer bag for the game tomorrow. Then Auggie grab his backpack and our overnight bag.

"I'm ready" Auggie says dragging our bag across the floor to the small living room. "Here's Auggie's medicine, he already took one today so he'll need to take another a dinner time and again in the morning." Mami says. "Were good your shift starts in a hour, we'll be fine" I tell her. "Ah when did you grow up" she says hugging me. "Okay you have your phone, keys, backpack, and jersey for the game." She asks. "Yes" I say picking up our bags. "We'll be okay Annalise, I promise" Hailey says holding Ryders hand. "Okay be good, and please make sure he takes his medicine. Thanks again for this. I'll have to take you guys out for dinner as a thanks" Mami says as we walk closer to the door. She gives us a hug and kisses us goodbye before we leave the house.

Hailey POV*

"Did you two eat, We could get some food" I ask. "No thanks we ate" Auggie says. "Where do you want to go" Jay asks. "Park!" Ryder screams. "Yeah!" Auggie adds. "Yeah we can go there" Amira says staring out the window. We get to the Park and as soon as the boys are unbuckle they jump out the car, to the playground. Watch as jay follows the boys all around the park, playing every game they make up with their bright imaginations. I sit on the bench taking cute pictures of them, to show Annalise. All while the boys are playing Amira is practicing soccer on the goal behind the playground.

 "Hey think we could have ice cream tonight" Amira asks as I walk up to her at the goal. " Yeah what kind?" I ask as she kicks the ball in to the corner of the net. " Vanilla, please" she says. "Are you coming tomorrow. It's the last game of the season" she asks looking up from dribbling the ball on her feet. " I'll try to be there, we have work I" I say as her head drops along with her excitement. "It okay" she says. " I never said no just not a yes" I say as she goes back to kicking the ball.

After playing we head to the store to pick up a few things for dinner. " Hey could we stop in here for a little bit" Jay ask looking at the baby isle. " Sure" I say walking over that section. " I thought we were getting stuff for dinner, not a baby. Ryders to big for this stuff no" Amira say hold Ry's hand as we walkthrough the isle. " unless your" she say looking at me for the answer, I nod. " oh my god. No way your pregnant" she says. " yup it a girl" Jay says. "Really happy for you guys" she says. "Ryder, bud where'd you get this?" I ask taking the baby blanket from him. "It cute Hails, he got the baby a gift" Jay say holding a sleeping Auggie. " It is but we're not, no-" I start. I put my hand on my stomach feeling where she kicked me. "Even the baby agrees that she wants the blanket too" he says gently rocking Auggie asleep. "Okay one thing" I say putting it in the cart. I look back and Amira, Jay, and Ry are play high-fiving with each other. I walk away smiling all the way to the frozen foods isle.

Jay POV*

I cook dinner for us while Hailey helps the kids get for the movie. " Can we build a fort" Ryder asks. " Please" he say now Auggie joining in. " okay but after dinner" Hailey says as the went back to Ryders room. "The realtor called said she can do open houses this weekend." I say. "Okay" she says.  After eating dinner I made, we start building the couch fort. "Put these cushion over there" I say. Me and Hailey watch as Amira and the boys move the cushions in the right places. They lay blankets over top top pillows and lay more pillows and blankets inside the fort, adding a little lamps to hang above them. "Were finished" they say getting into the cute fort. "Smile it's for your mom" Hailey says taking a picture of the kids in the fort. Me and Hailey crawl in with them, turning on the movie, Spiderman into the spider-verse. All the kids eventually fall asleep in the fort, so we lay a blanket over them and go to sleep in our own bed.
