Part 10

General POV*

When Ryder got up he went straight to Hailey's room and woke her up by jumping on the bed saying " Wake up mommy, wake up it's time for park". Hailey woke up and hugged Ryder ." Hey bud mommy has to go to work we can to the park tomorrow, how about that" says Hailey. "Hey mommy can Jay come and play too" Ryder says. " I don't know bud but I can ask him today at work" Hailey says. After their talk Hailey and Ryder get ready for the day then she grab her bag and Ry's then leave the apartment.

Hailey's POV*

When I get to work Voight is in his office talking on the phone so I say "Hi" to everyone get coffee then start my paper work. When Voight gets out of his office he tells us we have a case. So Jay and I get into the car drive to the scene. " Hey how was your night" I says trying to not spend this half- hour car ride in silence. " It was okay" says Jay. " Okay, um Ryder ask about you this morning" I say trying to start a conversation. " Did he now" says Jay, " Yeah he want me to ask you if you could come to the park tomorrow but you don't have to go if you don't want to" I say. The car get quiet for a little than I hear jay say " Yeah ,yeah I'll go to the park with you guys so what time tomorrow?" he says. " Tomorrow at 11am" I say. " So... tell me about Ryder like what's his favorite food or what kind of toys he likes" Jay says. When he says all that I can see a slight smile on his face. " Okay well Ryder is shy at first but he's a great kid, um his favorite food is ice cream even though I told him its not a food but he doesn't by it. He loves fire trucks and police cars and the park" I say with a big smile. " Well he seem great from what you told me and tell I can't wait to see him again" Jay says. 

( Fast forward to the end of the day). 

After we finish the case Adam says " Who's goin' to Molly's" Then I see Kevin, Kim, and Vanessa get up to go. When they leave I say bye to Voight then as me and Jay walk down the stair I tell Jay that I'll see him tomorrow before he leave. As I'm about to walk out I hear Platt call my name " Hey what's up with you and Halstead tomorrow" she asks. " Oh, were just going to the park" I says, but after I said that I realized what I had just done.
