Part 41

Jay POV*

I get a text from Hailey while I'm at the bar with Will. "Hey what going on with you, what's new with you and Hailey" he says slyly. "How'd you know?" I ask. "I saw you two kissing in her hospital room a while back". "Well since you asked me and her have been great I think" I say. "Why do you think that". "I told Hailey that I loved her but I walked away before she could say anything and I just got a text that she wants to talk tomorrow after she drops Ryder off at a playdate." I say. "Maybe she wanted to say something but your ass walked away before she could say anything, just listen to her and hear her out. " he says. " Okay" I reply. "Its late and I have a shift tomorrow so goodnight bro and tell me how it goes" Will say. "Yeah Ima head out too night man and I will." I say before we split ways.

When I get home I shower and just lay in bed trying to sleep but I can't. It's been thirty minutes and I still can't sleep so I lay back in bed. I grab my phone, when I turn it on the brightness of the screen makes me squint . I turn the brightness down and look at the lock screen and it's a picture of me, Hailey and Ry the day I met Ry for the first time. The picture makes me smile and I eventually fall asleep with my phone in my hand.

Hailey POV*

After I drop Ry off at his playdate I drive back to my apartment and walk up the stairs to find jay standing at my door with Chinese food. I open the door and we walk inside. "You brought food thanks but I'm not hungry" I says. "Sorry I just thought you would be" he walking to the fridge to put away the food. "Hailey I-" Jay begins to say before I interrupt him "I love you too and I'm sorry I didn't say it before but I love you and so does Ry. I was talking with him last night and we talked about you living here with us then he asks if that meant I had to get rid of his toys, anyway he said he was okay with it" I say. " Wait, you love me and I can move in with you and Ryder. Wow, but my answer is yes to it all" he says walking towards me and kissing me. " But before I move in we have to tell Voight" Jay adds. "I think he already knows" I say looking up to Jay's blank face. " You don't think he see us walk to the same car almost every night, his office looks down to the parking lot. Plus he asked me about it like months ago. Sorry I forgot to tell you that." I say. " Okay" is all he says. 

"It's almost 3pm and I left Zoe with three, 3 year-olds. Do you want to come with me to pick him up?" I say. " Yeah" he says opening the door for me.  We are half there when I look over and see Jay smiling at me. " What with the smile" I say putting my eyes back on the road. "I just love you that's all" he say which makes me smile.  When we get to Zoe's house I here the kids play in the back yard. We walk up to the front door and ring. " Hey Hailey" I hear Tyshawn say. " Oh who is this with you" he asks. " Hey Tyshawn this is Jay my boyfriend, Jay." I say. " Well come in the kids are play tags of dragon princess, I don't know." he say. We walk in and there house is so kid friendly it has toys in different places snacks and juice boxes on the table. " Sorry about the mess but we have three kids" Tyshawn says. " I only see Zoe with just the twins" I say. " yeah baby Zalie goes to my moms house when we go to work" he say. " You have a lovely house Tyshawn" Jay say. He then leads us to the back porch of the house where the kids are running after each other.  " mommy, Jay" Ry say running into Jay arms." Hi buddy did you have fun" Jay says tickling him " yes" Ry says laughing. "We got to go so say bye bud" I say as Jay put him down. He first gives the girls a hug, He goes to Zaya, Zoe and baby Zalie. Then he walks over to the boys Zhuri and gives him a hug. 

I see Jay and Tyshawn talking so I sit down on the stairs and the kids play. " So what's it like having three kids" I ask Zoe. " It's like the first one but there's two. Do you want kids with Jay" she ask. " Don't know I mean he's great with Ry but we're taking it slow for now" I say. " Well enjoy the one kid for now because when there's two you have to divide your time and you'll feel tired but you can't be tired because they need you. Then they'll do something that makes you laugh and it will all be worth it" Zoe say " Thanks" I say before hear my phone go off, it's Amira. 

Amira: Hey Hailey my mom accidently signed up for the thanksgiving night shift and I was hope me and Auggie could come spend it with you and Jay.

you know what never mind it doesn't matter.

Hailey: Did you ask your mom if that was okay with her, and if it is than yes, but we go over to my Sargent's house for thanks giving this year, okay.

Amira: Yes she know she said it was ok with her if it's ok with you and it beats staying at home with Auggie. Thanks.

 We get home and eat diner together. "Hey I invited Amira and August to Thanksgiving because there mom has work on the night shift" I say.  " Oh, I love Auggie and Amira." He says. I get up and walk around to where Jay is and sit on his lap. "I love you". I love you too" he say placing another kiss on my lips.
