Hailey's POV*
When me and Ry get home we take showers then go to bed. I get up the next morning with a text from Voight saying " Hey can you come in early". So I get up grab Ry's bag for preschool then hop in the car and get to work.
I get to work an hour early like Voight said and as I take a seat at my desk I see Voight and Jay walk in. "Moring my office. Now" Voight says in his raspy voice. " what is it Sarge" Jay said. " I just wanted to bring you guys in early to go over the plan again. "So Jay, you and Kim will go in as brother and sister at the gun convention and make a deal arrest him so stick to the plan and you'll be good. And Hailey you and Kevin will be in the surveillance van and backup while Vanessa and Adam will also be more backup for you and Kim." says Voight. After they stop talking in his office they go back to doing paperwork until the rest of the team get there.
When the rest of the unit gets here we start packing up the cars and making sure we have everything before we hit the road. The trip to the gun convention was not long. When we get there Kev and I check Jay and Kim to make sure their wires are working. Everything is good until a security officer stops jay and jay tells him that they are undercover officers working a case. In that moment Kim walks out with the two guys from the convention. I get out the car to follow her. I kept a slow pace towards Kim but when I see the tall guy saw me Kim called me over as her friend. " Hey its okay this is my friend Ally" Says Kim.
