Jay's POV*
Its been a month since Hailey and I confessed our feelings and we still haven't been on an official date. So after we finished our shift I plan on asking her out. As the day goes by Hailey can tell that I've been on edge. After we finish talking to a CI of Hailey's we get back in the car, sit in the passenger side since we took Hailey's car. When Hailey get in she sit there for a bit then turns her head to face me. " What's wrong with you? Sorry that came out wrong. Are you okay you've been on edge all day." Said Hailey. " Yeah I okay just excited." I say. " Excited about what" says Hailey. " I was gonna wait till the shift was over but-." Units in the district, units in the citywide Armed robbery in progress 2400 Washburn. It was only a couple blocks away so I told dispatch "5021-goerge plain cloths officers on scene notify intelligence and send back up".
After we solve the case I pull Haley into the locker room. " Hey so what were you gonna tell me in the car" she says. " I was going to ask if you would like to go out on a real date with me this Saturday" I say. " Yes I would love that" She says. Then we go to Molly's because Ryder's spending the night with Estella.
We get there and I see Kevin, Adam ,Kelly ,Casey ,Will, Noah, Ethan, and Blake. Hailey sits at the bar with Kim, Vanessa, April, Natalie, and Sylvie so they can still talk to Stella. By the end of the night only a few people got drunk but we still had a fun night. We all went home some time after 11 PM and woke up with a pretty bad hungover.
