Part 51

Hailey POV*

"Daddy's not dead he's up there." Ry says pointing to where Jay and Kevin are. "come here bud" I say pulling Ry on to my lap. "your right he is upstairs why don't you go help him" I say taking back my phone and the headphones Ry was wearing, and watching him walk up the stairs. "So your not going to tell him that Jay will be his kind-of step dad" Vanessa says. "He's to young to understand that his bio dad is dead and he already knows that I 'm dating Jay so it's easier" I say as V and I walk upstairs. "Wow it looks great in hear, I love the blue wall and those feather things too" I say as we sit down on the opposite wall watch the boys help Ry use a wretch. " you were right babe" Kevin says standing up and walking over to Vanessa. "Told you so" Vanessa say standing up . "Thanks Jay for helping him." she say. "No problem I was a little tired of getting eaten by dinosaur Ry anyways" Jay says walking down the stairs.

Jay POV*

We get home, everyone showers then I puts Ry to bed. "Hey daddy, mommy said you die nut I told her that you were in nursery with Uncle Kev" said Ryder. "Nope I'm alive" I say after a minute." You know what bud I have to talk to mommy so no story tonight, I love you" I say giving him a kiss and walking out of his room. "Love you too daddy" he say before I shut the door. "I walk into the bedroom and Hailey is braiding her hair. "Hails Ry said that you told him that I died." I say sitting down on the bed and getting under the covers. " I wasn't talking about you, I was talking to Vanessa about Garrett and when I turned around Ry was behind me" Hailey says. "Is it okay if he calls you dad I know parenthood is a lot and-" she asks leaning in closer to me. " Yeah it's great actually I've always wanted to be a dad" I say with a smile. " goodnight" Hailey says giving me a kiss. "night babe" I say.

The two days I wake up and go to work. " Hey" I say to Adam, Kim, and Kevin. "no Hails again" Kim says. I shake my head no "why?". "Because you guys are boring, Kev knocked up Vanessa so she's gone, Hailey has a kid and Platt is in Hawaii with Mouch doing god knows what and I'm all alone" She says. "You have me" Adam say. " I know but your not the same" Kim says turning back to her work. Me, Adam, and Kevin gather in the breakroom." Jay, when does Hailey come back?" Adam asks. "Hailey comes back tomorrow because Ryder's Preschool opens back up" I say. "Good because Kim need girl human interaction " Adam says. " So Kev what up with you V, have you guys chosen the god father yet because I've been your best friend for 7 years" Adam says. "we haven't talked about god parents really the only thing we've been talking about is him or hers middle name."  said Kevin. "Oh what are the name choices" I say. " Vanessa and I agree that we will tell you guys the name when he or she is born. But don't tell Vanessa I said this but if it's a girl the middle name V wants is Julianna and the one I want is Storiee. If it's a boy then V and I both want James as his middle name" he says. "I like them all but I like Storiee more for a girl, it has more meaning to the name, like she may be the beginning of you and V's story" Adam says. "Adam making sense, wow" I say. "shut up" he reply's. "I really like them both, but you do know that the baby can have two middle names right" I say. "Yeah, yeah I knew that" Kevin say walking out the breakroom scratching the back of his head. "he didn't know" I say as me and Adam laugh. 

"What was taking you guys so long" Kim says as they walk out of the breakroom. "Kevin gave us a the middle names the him and V wanted for a baby." Adam says. "what are they" she says getting excited. "For a boy they both want James and for a girl V wants Julianna and I want Storiee" Kevin says. "I love them all tough decision" said Kim.
