Hailey POV*

I'm standing in line for coffee when I hear a familiar voice behind me. I turn around quickly see who it is before turning back, it's Erin. "Hailey? Upton?" The voice says. "Lindsay hi it's been awhile" I say looking at her. "Yeah it has we should catch up if you have time" she says as I order my coffee. "I have time before I have to go in if you want to talk" I say moving out the way. "Yeah I have time" she says as we wait for our coffee to be finished. "So what brought you here?" She ask as we find a seat near the back. "The FBI needed a loan out and I was sent here" I say sipping the hot coffee. "What about you, How have you been since moving to New York?" I ask. "It's been great I love everything about this city. How's Chicago and the team?" she says. "The team is good a lot has happened. Kev has a kid now, Valentina she's the cutest and Kim and Adam are engaged again, I think it's for good this time-" I say. "And Jay?" She asks. "Oh Jays good he's-" I'm about to say more but phone rings, it's Jay face timing me.

"Gotta take this" I say answering it. "Mom, you should've seen me at the game last night. I killed it, I scored so many goals, well it was only two but still great. I even broke some girls nose" she says. "You did what" I say getting up to walk to the corner of the café. "Not like technically, I kicked the ball and it hit her in the face. I can't control gravity" she says as the lights in the back get bright. "I wish you were there" she says. "Me too I'll be home in two weeks counting the days till I can see you guys again" I say. "That mommy" I hear someone say in the back ground as the camera fills to Auggie and Ryder. "Hi boys" I say waving into the camera. "Look mommy I got a A+ on my spelling test" Auggie say holding up his test paper. "I got Dino" Ryder says holding up his stuffed animal. "Good job buddy, I miss you two" I say. "I miss you to mommy" they say.

"Amira how Rowan, is Dad doing a good job" I ask her. "Dad is doing a good job" Jay say taking the phone. "Hey babe, I miss you so much" I say. "I miss you more, how everything over there?" He asks putting the phone down to make a bottle. "Everything is good. the feds have a lot more paperwork than us" I say as I hear crying in the back. "Look who wants to say hi to mama" he says as Ro-Ro enters the camera. "Mama" she says trying to grab the screen. "Hi baby" I say smiling. "How are you? You got four kids all by yourself" I ask. "It's really great the teams been helping me pick them up and Voight took me off the on call list for this month. So it's been great, we're great" he say moving to a different room. "Really" I ask seeing through the act knowing what he's about to do next.

"No they're all needy monsters, Hailey. And so dirty, yesterday I picked up that damn Dino from the back yard, he was all muddy and wet, just discussing all around. Do you know how many snacks Ryder eats in a day because the number is up to six now. Now Auggie wants to play the drums and we ran out coffee a two days ago. Hails how do you do it?" He says. "First our kids aren't needy monsters... all the time. And second drink some of the good coffee Platt keeps under her desk at the district. Also it's almost 7:30 why isn't Amira on the bus yet" I say. "It's a two hour delay from all that rain last night, so I'm taking the kids and Ezra to school" he says. "Okay tell them I love them and good luck with our monsters" I say smirking. "Two weeks" he says. "Two weeks, I love you" I says blowing him a kiss. "Love you too, say bye mama" he say to Rowan as I hang up.

"Sorry that took so long" I say sits back down across from Erin. "No it's fine, so you and Jay are married and have a kid, congrats" she says. "Thanks we ah- we have four kids" I say. "Wow four kids" she says. "Yeah, that was our oldest Amira she's 12, she loves playing soccer and her brother Auggie he's 6, and so smart and funny, he can make anybody laugh. Then there's Ryder, he's 4 and he loves exploring our backyard with his little magnifying glass, it so cute. Then Rowan our red headed firecracker she's one, but so sassy and stubborn like her dad" I say. "You must be so proud" she says. "I really love being their mom. What about you?" I ask. "Unless you count being a dog mom, then no" she says. "What type of dog" I ask. "It's a pit and lab mix" she says showing me a picture of the cute dog. "That's Pizza, the kid in my building named him and now it's all he'll answer to. Can I see your kids?" she says. I take out my phone and show her a picture of Rowan first. "That's Rowan at her first birthday and here's my boys at Auggie's baseball game" I say showing a picture of Auggie and Ry with the baseball trophy. "And Amira she hates being in pictures, this was us last year at the tree farm" I say showing Erin the picture of the kids.
