Auggie POV*

I just finished my last day of Kindergarten and Mom missed my graduation. I get off the bus and Mira's late so I sit and read a book that my teacher got me. When Mira finally shows up we walk to the apartment together and Mira stops as soon as she opens the door. "Mira it's open let me in" I say pushing her but she still won't move, all she does is hand me her phone. "Turn around and call Jay" she says. "Why" I ask. "Now Auggie!" she says walking into the messy apartment. I'm very curious so I turn around at the sight. I see Mami on the floor with her eyes open just staring at me. "Mira why isn't she moving" I say as the phone rings.

"Auggie I said turn around" she yells with tears running down her face. "Why isn't she moving" I say as tears are now in my eyes. "Mom's gone" she says crying as she shields my eyes from the apartment. "Hello" the phone says but I say nothing, I just keep crying more. "Are you okay? What's going on? Amira. I'm on my way, where are you" Jay says as Amira takes the phone from my hand. "h-home" she says. We wait on the stairs for Jay to come get us. I cry into her shoulder as we wait for him on the stairs.

Jay POV*

I'm on a coffee run with Adam when I get the call. "Adam we got to go, it's Amira" I say grabbing the coffee and jogging to the car. We get to their apartment and run up the step skipping a couple on the way. I get to the stairs and see Auggie and Amira on the stairs crying. Auggie runs up and hugs me. "Amira what wrong" I say walking up the stairs, she doesn't say anything just stares at the wall as she lets the tears fall. Adam goes a head up the stairs as I try to set Auggie down next to Amira but he won't let go of my neck. "oh my god" Adam say walking into the apartment. "I called it in, the teams on their way you can go I got this" Adam says. I turn around and Amira's gone. "Auggie where's Amira?" I say as he shrugs his shoulders. Auggie and I walk down to my truck. When the teams arrives I leave Auggie with a patrol unit out of earshot.

"What happened and Why is August here" Voight asks. "We got a sexual assault the victim is DOA and her daughter is missing." I tell them as we walk to the scene of the crime. "This Vic got a name yet" Kim asks. "Yes Annalise Ramirez-Estevez 39 work's as a night nurse at Chicago MED, has two kids Lucia and August" Adam says. "Crime tech says she's been dead for at least 3 hours putting the TOD close to 12pm" I say.

"So Amira is missing" Vanessa says breaking the silence. "Burgess, Halstead go find Amira. Kev take August back to the station and call Upton too. I will stay here with Adam and finish up. Rojas, go to Med talk to the other nurses she worked with last night." Voight says as we all move to follow his orders.

I walk to Kim's car and we drive around the city looking for Amira. "Where do you think Amira would go?" she asks. "She loves soccer check the nearest soccer fields maybe the coffee shop by her school, her dads grave" I say. First we stop at the coffee Shop. "Jay, hey you want something" she says. "Hi I'm Officer Burgess we have to ask you a few questions" Kim says. "What's going on" she asks. "Have you seen Amira today?" I ask. "Yeah she always comes by at the end of each semester for a free drink if she gets good grades" she says. "What time did she leave" Kim asks. "She left around 3:20, is Amira okay" she says. "We can't find her, but thanks for the information" I say before we walk out.

We look around the city for Amira we've checked the nearby parks and the coffee shop we even went by her school but nothing. I try to call her phone but Auggie has it, it's now six O'clock and were back at the station when I remember something about Amira. "I think I know where she is" I say standing up and grabbing my Jacket as Kim is about to do the same. "It think I should go alone" I say as she sit back down. I let Hailey know I'm leaving and then I take my car to the park by mine and Hailey's apartment.
