Part 25

General POV*

As the weeks went by Hailey and Jays relationship grew and grew. Even Vanessa took Hailey's advice and started seeing Kevin. It's week 4 in Kevin and Vanessa relationship and week 10 in Jay and Hailey's. Just as thing were starting to get normal from Hailey, Ryder, and Jay something happens.

It started out as a normal day Hailey and Ry got dressed and out the door she dropped him off at day care. While she went to work and did paperwork cause there was no cases. 

Hailey POV*

I Stated today like every other week day, I dropped Ry off then work. But today felt off, like something was gonna happen. Well at least the work day was a little normal. The team was checking up with CI's, doing paperwork, or if your Adam taking a "break" with Kim. It's lunch and the team goes out for lunch at Uno's. Towards the end of lunch we get a call from Voight say we have a case.  Anyway some time past and it's now 3:15 that's the time that Ryder gets out of preschool and Estella usually pick him up. The case was coming along when I called Estella to ask her if she could watch Ryder for the night, she said yes. 

Estella POV*

Today is just a groggy day I woke up thanked God for another day got ready and payed bills cleaned the apartment the usual when your old. At 2:55 I got in my car to go pick up Ryder. I get to the preschool when I start to get chest pains but I blow it off because i did just eat spicy food so I thought it was heart burn. When I walk in I'm greeted by a very happy Ryder. " Hi Grandma" he says because I used to watch him as a baby when ever Hailey need a night out and as time went he just started calling me grandma. " hey bubba you ready to go home we get to have a fun night because your mom is work we are having a sleepover" I say as I put him in his car seat. " So, how was your day bud" I say as I put a plate of fruit in front of Ryder as a snack. "it was good we watch movies on dinosaur's and at recess I played tag with Zhuri and Zaya" says Ryder.  After play trucks, watching a kid friendly educational show, and eating dinner I check the time. It reads 7:00 on the dot. So I take Ryder to  Hailey place to put his backpack up and grab his sleepover backpack and pack a few cloths and bathroom stuff the walk back to my apartment.

I gave Ryder I bath then and put him in his Spiderman pajamas and The Good Dinosaur on. When the chest pain catches me off guard, I fall down and am struggling to breathe. Then I see Ryder grab my phone and call someone. I know Hailey taught Ry how to call 911 incase of an emergency.

911 phone call:

Operator: 911 what's your emergency?

Ryder: my grandma fell down and is asleep

Operator: Okay help is on the way. What's your name sweat heart?

Ryder: Ryder , I'm 3 years old 

Operator: Okay can you stay on the line until the paramedics get there. Do you know how to unlock the door?

Ryder: Yes.

Hope y' all like this chapter and sorry again for the irregular post but I started high school and it sucks.
