Part 74

Jay POV*

Today is one of the rare Saturdays we have off and Ry is with Will, so me and Hailey are just cuddling in bed. "What do you want to do today?" I ask her. "Stay here" she says snuggling into me. "As much as I love this we can't do this all day" I say. "You wanna do something crazy and spontaneous" she says now staring up at me. "Maybe what is it" now I'm staring down at her puling her body closer to mine. "get married" she says. "Is it to much nevermind, we just got engaged five months ago, just forget it." she says squirming out the bed. I pull her back to me and say "let do it". "Do what" she asks. "Let's get married today" I say leaning down to kiss her. "really" she says leaning her head on mine. "hell yes" I say our kiss turn passionate.

"Jay, we gotta go the courthouse closes early on the weekends, you making us late" she says getting ready as I lay in bed looking at her. "You didn't seen to mind being late and hour ago" I say smiling. "Shut up and put on clothes Jay" she says angry glaring at me. "I get out the bed and put on clothes. "Are you sure about this" she say stepping one foot out the bathroom. "Hail's I've never been more sure about anything" I say. "Are you okay" I asks. "I just don't want to lose what we have. If we get Married there's no turning back after this and I know you've been married before and what we have isn't like what you and her hand but" she says. "What I had with her was nothing compared to I have and what we'll have together. I love you and I can't not love you. I really want to marry you but if you think it's not the right time then we can wait till after the baby born" I says. "then lets get married" she says. " You ready" she say walking out the bathroom. "Yes" I say walk out the room with her. "Let get married" I say as we walk out the apartment.

We get to the court house and surprisingly it wasn't the crowded. When were called to the desk we show our ID's to the lady. "What are you here for" she says not looking up from the computer. "Were here to get married" I say. "Fill this out both of you, wait over there" she says very Trudy-like, she points to a smaller courtroom. "Thanks" Hailey says as we walk over to some chairs to fill out the sheets. "Damn this is a lot of sheets just for marriage" I say. "We would've had to fill it out anyway" she says. When we finish filling the papers out we wait outside the courtroom for the couple before us to finish. As they walk out all smiling and happy Ii think about Hailey's smile after we get married. "Jay" she says waving a hand in front of my face. "sorry" I say as we walk in. We hand our papers to the guy working there. " Okay you two ready" he says. "Yes" we say at the same.  "Take each others hand and repeat after me" he says. 

We get to the end and he say the line I've been waiting for. "Jay Alexander Halstead, do you take Hailey Ann Upton to be your lawfully wedded wife". "I do. "And Hailey Ann Upton do you take Jay Alexander Halstead to be you lawfully wedded husband". "I ...
