Part 69

Jay POV*

It finally Valentines day and I've got the whole day planned out for Hailey. Frist were going to drop off Ry with Will and then I'm taking her to the Hawks Valentines game. Then were taking the fairy around the city and at end the night with dinner at this Italian restaurant. My plan was perfect until Will got sick. "Jay it's okay we can go another time" Hailey says. "No it's not Hailey I wanted this day to be perfect because you prefect and my brother caught the flu" I say plopping down on the couch as Hailey goes to the bedroom to get dressed. Then Ry walks out of his room after trying to put on his clothes by himself. I pick him up and set him on the countertop. "Ry got your clothes on backwards" I say. I pick him up again and help him fix his clothes. After helping Ry I look at my phone and it's a text from Will

Hey Man I woke up sick don't bring Ry to my place. Sorry.-Will

"Dammit" I say under my breath. "Hailey Change of plans" I say taking Ry off the counter. "What do you mean change of plans, what happened" she says walking out of the bedroom. "Will's sick" I says putting on Ry's shoes. "We could leave him with Voight" she says. "Ry you want to have a play date with Mr. Voight" I ask him zipping up his coat. "Yeah!" he says jumping up. " I'll text Voight" Hailey says grabbing her keys and purse. Were on the way to Voight house after texting him. "He said it was okay" Hailey say putting her phone away. After dropping off Ry at Voight's house we head to the Hawks game. We get to the game right as the game starts. We take a seat in the middle row with no one beside us on either side.

After the we drive to the fairy docks. "Hey just got text from Voight Ryder's sleeping but he said Ry feels warm. you think we should take him home." Hailey says looking down at her phone. "Hailey, Voight had kids before lets wait a little" I say holding her hand as we walk to the fairy. Once the fairy start moving I look over at Hailey and see her staring at the scenery in front of us. "like what ya see" she says making my cheeks heat up. "Yup" I walk closer to her and kiss her head as we look at the buildings passing by.

it's almost six when we get off the fairy. "So how was it" I ask her as we walk to the car in the snow. "What's next on our day of fun" she asks. "I hope your hungry because were getting dinner" I say pulling out of the parking spot. We get to the Italian place and they give us a table. "This place barely has anyone in it" Hailey says. "The key is not going to the fancy restaurants until after Valentines." I say. "Hi I'm Kya I'll be your sever today thank you for choosing Olive Garden, would you like drink to start off this evening?" she ask. "Yes I would like a beer," I say. "and Ma'am what would you like". "I'll just take a water thank you" Hailey says before the sever walks away to get our drinks.

Hailey POV* 

"You didn't want anything... stronger" Jay ask me. "I can't drink alcohol right now or for awhile really" I says. "Why is this like a cleanse thing" he says still not getting it. "Repeat after me, "I'm". "I'm, still don't get it Hailey" he says. "You didn't even try, It was only two words I'm pregnant was it that hard" I say sitting back in y chair. "really" he says. "yeah 4 weeks it's still really early" taking a sip of my water that the waiter just got us as he processes what I just said. "This is great Hails, wow this is.... wow a house ....wow" he says. "Yeah were going to need a house but we're already looking at houses back when we were at the cabin" I say. as our sever hands us the food. I finish up eating my fettucine alfredo while Jay just finished his chicken parmesan. "Would you like desert" Kya asks taking our plates as I read the text from Voight. "Hailey would you like anything" Jay asks but I'm still looking at my phone. "I um we gotta go, can we have the check please" I say as the sever get the check. "Ryder threw up on Voight floor and he has a fever" I say. 

We  leave for Voight's house the restaurant after paying. "Hey guys how was dinner" Voight says opening the door. " It was great" Jay says stepping into the house after me. I walk over to the couch and Ry is sleeping with a cold cloth on his head. " I check his fever 20 minutes ago and it was 100, he been asleep for a couple minutes now" Voight says. Jay pick him up, we that Voight before heading to the car. At home I give Ry a warm bath and I rock him to sleep after. 

I walk out his room and jays in the kitchen pouring us drinks. "You know I can't drink right" taking a seat on a barstool. "It just apple juice" he says sliding the cup over to me. "Happy Valentines day babe" He says holding up his cup. "Happy Valentines day" I say clinking our cups and kissing his. 

"Daddy" Ry says from his room. "Your turn Jay" I say as he chugs the juice and walk over to Ry's room. I smile at the sight of Jay rocking Ry back to sleep.
