Part 88

Amira POV*

Were driving back from the Mrs. Platt's house after dropping Auggie and Ry there. We get to their house and there's a lot of  cars in the driveway. "Who's here" I ask getting out the car. "The team minus Voight" Jay says grabbing Auggie and I's duffel bags. We open the door and walk in to the house, there's lots of boxes some empty and others full of house stuff. "You want something to eat" Hailey asks as I grab my bag from Jay. "Amira I got it, I'll just put it in your room" he says. "My room". "Yeah you have your own room" they say. I follow them up the stairs to my new bedroom, then we stop in front of a closed door.

"Okay Jay and I spent some time on you room and we heard your mom mention that you love the color olive green so" she says opening the door to my room. "Woah all this is mine" I say walking in. "Yup and you have your own bath room until this one can pee on her own" she says pointing to her 6 month stomach. "Thank you so much" I say hugging them both. "Your welcome" they says. It's awesome. I have a huge bed, no more twin bed I have a queen size now and it's my favorite color too. I love it! "Thank you" I say hugging them both again.

Jay walks away to go help Kevin and Adam build the nursery, Hailey goes to help Kim and Vanessa finish putting together the bunkbeds. I walk with Hailey into the boys room, to see Vanessa and Kim making the beds. Their room looks really good, I know Auggie's gonna love sharing a room with Ryder. "You think they'll love it?" I hear Kim ask me. "Yeah, Auggie loves everything" I say making them chuckle a little. I help vacuum and clean up the bits of cardboard and paper from the boxes.

Then I head back to my room to change clothes. I rummage through my bag looking for some shorts and a old shirt to where, I put on the clothes. I take a minute to look around the room, finding a couple new hoodie, shirts, and jeans throughout the drawers and closet. I look out the window to see small children running around in their backyard. I have never had a backyard before.

I run out the room and to the boys room to find Hailey. "There's a backyard too" I say getting all of their attention. "Yeah" she say slowly. I run back to my room putting back on my shoes, running down the stairs and out the back door. I look around and the grass is so green, there's on really big tree in the back. I walk out to the middle of the yard, lay down and look up at the clouds. I try to spot out all the shapes and animals I could find. I find one cloud that looks like the letter A. "We'll be okay mom" I say as the cloud disappears back into the sky. I get so lost in my thoughts the I don't even hear Hailey walk out and sit down next to me. "Hi" Hailey says laying down next to me.

Hailey POV*

"You looked so excited to see a yard" she says. "I've never had a backyard to play in. Sorry if I scared you" I say. "Well you scared me a little but in a good way" I say. "Look that one looks like a dinosaur" she say pointing up to the sky full of clouds. "Look there's one over here looks like a baboon" I say pointing up. "A what?" she say now looking at me. "You don't know what a baboon is" I ask. "It sounds made up" she says looking back at the clouds. "It kind of looks like a gorilla but smaller. they have hairless butts and-" I say before being interrupted by laughter. "Hairless butts" Amira says in between laughing. "Yeah" I say now catch her infectious laughter.

It's after 6pm when I hear the door open as I'm unpacking the kitchen. "We're home" Jay says from the door. "We got pizza" Auggie says running into the kitchen. "Thanks guys, hey your rooms finished why don't you guys go check it out and then bring Amira back when your done" I say as the boys run up the stairs. "No running" I yell from the kitchen. I start unpacking the kitchen again when I feel strong hands against my growing belly. "You ever image this?" I ask leaning back into him. "I never thought that I would live in anything but my apartment after Erin left, but here we are. We live in a house plus three kids and another on the way, never in a million years did I picture all this in my future but I love it. I love waking up next to you every morning and falling asleep next to you every night. I love you and all of this feels like a dream." he says.

"I love everything you just said" I turn around to face him, "You can't do this in a dream can you" I say giving him a passionate kiss. "Gross", "eww" the little kids says turning around. "Who's ready to eat" Jay says opening the pizza boxes. "Me!" they all say as I hand the paper plates. "Where are we sitting, there's no table" Amira asks. "On the floor" I says handing her a slice before we all sit on the floor. "So what did you to do with Mrs. Trudy" Jay asks as they both start telling us about their day at the same time. "Okay one at a time" I say.
