Jay POV*

Not long after I carry each kid upstairs to the rooms and go to bed with Hailey. I wake up to someone hitting me. "Yeah"  wipe my eye to see better. "Jay, Jay" I hear Hailey say. "Hails baby it's—I look over at the clock— 3 am why aren't you sleeping" I say pushing myself up the lean on the headboard feeling something damp on the bed. "Did you pee" I ask rubbing my eyes. "Jay I need you to wake up the kids" she says getting out of bed. "Come on we got to go my water broke and the contractions are seven minutes apart" she's as I shot up from the bed and grabs some pants, a shirt, and light jacket to wear." Do you need help or what do you need" I say walking to her. "What I need is for you to get the kids so we can go" she says look me dead in the eyes. I run to Auggie and Ryder's room first. " boys we got to go, get up" I say shaking their arms. They wake up and I help them put on their jacket and change into sweatpants then they go downstairs. Then I go to Amira's room and wake she up but she was never asleep. " Hey Amira we - your awake why" I say sitting on the edge her bed. "Couldn't sleep. Why are you up?" She says getting out of bed. "baby's coming we got to go grab a Jacket and get down stairs" I say walking back to my room. To find Hailey hunched over on the bed still not dressed. "You okay" I walk over to her and help her step into the clean pants. "To answer your questions I'm not okay Jay I have to push a baby out of me" she say as another one hits squeezing my hand to ease the pain.

Hailey POV*

We get to the hospital I am wheeled into the maternity ward. "Where'd you leave the kids" I ask Jay as he takes my hand. " one of the nurse said she would watch them while I was with you". Just as the on call OB walks in just as the clock hits 7." Hey just came to check you, how are you feeling" she asks. "They're a lot stronger and longer but ready for this to be over." I say. " Good because your at 10, get ready to push" she says walking out to get the nurse."You ready yet because this baby is coming and I can see the head so on the next one I want you to push" as the nurses and Doctor put on their gowns.

The As me next contraction hit I hunch over to push, when the count stops I stop pushing. When the next two hit I do the same, grab Jays hand and squeeze until the head is out. I fling myself back and take deep breath's. "just breathe Hailey" Jay says in a calming manner. "I know how to breathe you idiot" I say cutting my statement short with another contraction. "I'm going to need you to stop for a second" she says. " is everything okay" Jay asks as I catch my breath. " I need to push, I need to, it hurts too much" I say looking up at Jay. "Just making sure the baby's okay" she says.

"Okay Hailey on the next one i need a big push and its over" she say lifting her head above the blue curtain before going back to focusing on the baby. I hear the word "baby's out" and my head hits the pillow a they take her to get cleaned up. "S-she not crying. I can't see her. Why can't I see her?" as tears fall from my eyes. "They're working on her" Jay says brushing the wet hair from my face. Then I here a shrill cry and a nurse walk over and hands our baby girl to us. "6 pounds and 4 ounces, 20 inches long congrats." She says. " she's beautiful babe you did so great" Jay tells me. " you should tell the kids" I says not taking my eyes of the new baby. " kids we have kid now Hails" he say. "Babe we have four now" I say looking at him weird. " I knew that I just meant our first one together" he says. We sit there admiring the beautiful baby we just created for a couple minutes in silence. "She needs a name Hails. I was thinking we should keep it going with the R names. What about Rowan? It's Irish for little redhead" He asks. "I love it" I say. "You sure because you shot down all the other names I suggested and-". " Jay, I said I love it, and it goes with her middle name" I say. "Hello Rowan Jaykes Upton-Halstead" Jay says. "hey let's just do Halstead she has enough names as it is" I smile at the though of our new future. "Thanks Hailey now I'm getting the kids they need to meet his baby sister" he says giving me and Ro a kiss before leaving the room.

Jay POV*

I leave the room and walk to the nurses station. " Hi and my looking for my kids" I say not thinking. " oh my god that's a code pink when was the last time you saw them" she say about to grab the phone. " I'm sorry I'm a little tired. There were three kids 12,6,and 4 they came with my wife and a nurse said she would watch them you don't know where they are" I say as she talks to the other nurses. " Okay Bailey said Gwen took them to the on call room to sleep in beds." she says guiding me to the room. " here they are" she say opening the door where the boys are still sleeping next each other and Amira is wide awake. "still no sleep" I say picking up both boys and carrying them to Hailey's room as I see out of the corner of my eye her nodding yes. "There a baby yet" she ask as we walk to Hailey's room. " Yup your- can I say your sister or no" I ask her. "I do live with you guys so I guess she's my sister" she say going quiet as she opens the door to Hailey's room. "They're still asleep " Hailey says, I nod. "You want to hold her" Hailey asks Amira as she nods. I set the boys down on a soft bench, then I take the baby from Hailey and walk over to the rocking chair. I slowly let go of the baby into Amira's hands. " so what's her name" she asks. "Meet Rowan Jaykes Halstead" I say. "You used the name I picked. Cool hi Jaykes, I'm you sister in a way" she say making us laugh as they continue to get to know each other. "We need to talk about her sleepless nights" Jay says whispering in my ear . " I know but for now let them sleep" I say as Jay sees Amira is fast asleep in the chair holding little Rowan. " I love Jaykes" I say. " So the nickname's going to stick" I say as Jay nods.
