The Secrets We Keep

Part 18

Hailey's POV*

When I was discharged from the hospital it was a little after noon and I was hungry. That's when I get out my phone to see that I have five text from jay saying that Vanessa will be picking me up. When I get to the front of the hospital I see Vanessa. " Hey, I'll be your chauffeur today" Vanessa says being silly." Hey" I say with a grin. We walk to the car get in and start the journey home. The first couple minute were silent until I spoke up. " So what happened in my hospital room" I say. " What do you mean" she says back not taking her eyes off the road and tightening her grip on the car wheel. " You know when you ran out with your hand on your mouth so what happened" I say trying to find the truth. 

Vanessa POV*

As were driving back to Hailey's apartment she starts asking me question about yesterday. " Okay, don't tell anyone but I have food poising from gas station sushi" I say. "Why are you ashamed of food poising" said Hailey. " Because of what I did after getting sick" I say taking a breath then starting again. " After I get sick I start crying and when I started crying Kevin walked in and we sat there for 30 minutes crying and its embarrassing" I say. " Well it can't be as bad as morning sickness because the morning part in morning sickness is a lie, you puke at all hours of the day" says Hailey chuckling. When we get to her apartment, Hailey asks me to stay because she didn't want to be alone and plus I had the next two days off for being sick. 

So for the next two days we hangout and talked about everything her and jay, Ryder, just everything going on in our lives. It felt good to talk with someone beside Kevin, which was something else she wanted to talk about but I didn't want too.  

Sorry for the short chapter and taking long I wasn't busy just slept a lot, so hope you like this chapter. Bye.
