It's been two month since Estella's heart attack and everything me and Jay's relationship has been great we go out on date's even if it's with Ry to the park. It's now a two weeks from Halloween and I am look for dinosaur costumes on amazon while Jay took Ry out for a boys trip. When I here the door bell ring. I get up check the peep hole then open to find Vanessa at my door. She looked like she had been crying when she walked in. "Hey Vanessa what's up with the surprise visit, you know Ry is out with Jay for the day" I say. Then she turns and faces me with teary eyes and hands me something. "Oh" is all I could say when she handed me the pregnancy test. "What am I gonna do?" she say as we sit on my couch. "have you told Kevin and how far along". "I'm 10 weeks" she say. " And I'm sorry to just drop by without calling I'll leave" she say about to get up but I pull her into a hug and we talk. "How fat did you get when you were pregnant with Ry" she says.
I then go back to my room grab a box labeled Ryder Jace Upton. I walk back to the living room and hand the box to Vanessa. As she looks through the box her face light up and she laughs a little. "wow he looked so small" she say. "Yeah come back in 9 months you'll see, or actually you don't wanna see. It's not pretty down there. So have you made an appointment" I say while a small laugh slips my mouth. After I somewhat control my laughing, look and can see Vanessa worried face which makes me laugh harder. "it's not that funny Hailey and no I haven't made one yet" she's says. " Okay well lets do that right now" I say while taking out my phone. "Wait who and I supposed to call" She says. " Do you want to used my old ob. " I say I look up and see Vanessa nod. Then we call an schedule an appointment for the next day. "Are you gonna tell Kevin to come with you or" I say. "Can you come with me" Vanessa says. "yeah I'll go" I says before she gets a call from saying something about dinner tonight. "Hey I-" Vanessa starts to say before I interrupt her" just remember no alcohol". She waves bye before she leaves. Then I go back to looking for Halloween costumes for Ry.
