Part 57

Jay POV*

Today me and Hailey are taking Ry to meet Will for the first time, then after were taking him to get a haircut. "Are you sure he needs a haircut I mean his long hair is still cute for a three year old" Hailey says. "Hailey his hair is in his face all the time, he where's your hair ties plus he pointed to this hair style when we were look at ones to get" I say trying to calm Hailey down a bit. "Jay he's three he'll point at anything and he looks cute with my hair ties".  After talking Hailey back into the haircut again, we finally get in the car and drive to Will's place. 

When get to Will's apartment and knock on the door as we were about to knock the door opens, Natalie is there. "Should we come back later" I say as a smile creeps onto my face. "It's not like that I was just dropping off Owen for a few hours because the Nany had an emergency to attend to. Why are you guys here?" she asks. "We are going Christmas shopping just not with a toddler" Hailey says. "Oh that what I was about to do as well Bye Owen, be good for Will" Natalie says walking out the door. "I guess am watching two Toddlers today" Will says opening the door more so we can walk into his place. "Are you sure you'll be okay" Hailey a little skeptical about the situation. " It fine I've worked with multiple kids at a time before, Hailey" Will says comfortingly . I take off Ry's coat and let him play with Owen while we talk more. "Okay then right this down" Hailey says as Will runs to find paper and pen. "Okay" he says. "Ryder need his dinosaur to sleep, he doesn't like cheese by itself, and I potty trained him but there are accidents sometimes so here is his bag with a change of cloths, shoes and socks" she says. "Got it, now go Christmas shopping" Will say pushing us out. "Ry" I say as he walk over to us, I squat down to his level and hold him close. " Ry Mommy and I have to go but your gonna have fun with Uncle Will and Owen, okay." I say giving him a hug before he runs back to play with Owen. 

We get to Target and I grab a buggy to hold all the toys and stuff were gunna get. We walk up and down the isles until we reach the toys one. "What about this one" I say holding up a doll. "you do know we have a son right" Hailey says sarcastically while adding in a box of hot wheels to the buggy.  After almost an hour and a half of shopping I get a call. " Hey I gotta take this real quick" I say leaving the buggy with Hailey while I walk away from the toy section to take the call.

" Hello" I say from one side on the line. "Hi I'm this is Iris specking, Is this Mr. Halstead" Iris says. " Yes" I say back. " Hi, I'm just calling to tell you that the piece of jewelry your ordered is ready for pick up, come by whenever" she says. "Okay thank you bye." I say before hang up and walking back to Hailey where I can see that she added more toys to the basket. "Who was that" Hailey asks. "Oh just a scammer" I say lying through my teeth. "Okay, what do you think about matching PJ's" she ask as my face gives off a weird expression. "yeah that's what I thought to but Kim did it with her family growing up, but Ry would not where' anything without animals or super hero's on it" she say pushing the buggy toward the checkout line.  

We get done shopping and I unload all the toys and clothes we got for Ry into the trunk. Then I drive to Will's apartment. "Hey buddy did you have fun" I say picking up Ry." Yeah we made cookies and ate them and I got to put those on the tree" he says pointing to the ordainments on the small tree in his apartment. "look" he says taking Hailey and I's hand to see the picture of him, Owen and Will on one of the ordainments. "Do we get a tree too" he says. "Yeah we'll get one too bud. Come on it's haircut time" I say picking him back up and walking to the door. "what do you say" Hailey say. "thank you uncle Will". "Your welcome Ryder I had fun" he says. We walk out the door and head to the  Kids Cuts haircut place.

Hailey POV*

We get to the haircut place and I help y out of his car seat then hold his hand as we walk into the place.  We walk in there's lots of Kids with their parents there so I grab a ticket and we sit down on the chairs to wait for a chair to open up. While were sitting I take the opportunity to take a picture of a before picture of his hair and when the cut is down I'll take a after. When a lady calls our number I get up and hold Ry's hand as we walk to the chair. Jay lifts him onto the chair and we wait for the cut to be over. " It this his first Hair cut" the Lady, Sam I think asks me as I nod my head. " I can tell, you look like most the mother that come in for their kids first hair cut" she say as I smile at the comparison. For his first hair cut he did pretty well, there was no crying, no slip ups from him turning his head, nor any tears from me. Once he's done Jay pays for the haircut and we leave. We get home after grabbing take out on the way. I set Ry on my bed and snap a cute picture of him rocking his new haircut. Then I help him wash his hand so that he can eat.
