Gathering in Summer (Finale)

                I was in the hospital room.Draco was laying beside me."They're bringing him now."He whispered.Then the nurse walked in and handed me our son.I started crying.So did Draco."I carried it for nine months and he's the exact copy of you!"He chuckled."Should I wait until he's grown up or should I just kill you now?"I remembered our conversation earlier this year after I lost my first pregnancy."Oh don't you dare.I'm not leaving this angel behind."The whole family came in.The golden trio and the Weasley's too.Molly came over."Now you know how I felt for seven of my kids."I chuckled.Congratulations were spoken and I asked for the attention."Everybody meet Snape Diego Lucius Lopez de la Garcia Malfoy."

              Two days later we left the hospital.It was snowing outside.We though this whole celebration thing should be a week or two after Diego gets home.So we just thought we would do it on Valentine's Day.I got a suit baby jumper for Diego.I got dressed up too.I made a high ponytail.My favorite blood red rouge.My silver 6 inch stilettos making me look tall when I am clearly not.I got Diego and left the room.He was sleeping.Our professors,parents,family members,friends and everyone we ever shared a happy moment togather was invited.We were throwing this celebration in the Malfoy manor's ball room.That place is huge.As I got down Draco landed a kiss on both our foreheads."I wouldn't change thing in my life if it meant for the three us to be standing right here."I smiled wide."Me niether."I gave him a peck on the lips and we walked into the ball room."They're here!"

             We went from bistro table to bistro table.Everybody met Diego.Luna,Neville,Harry,Ginny,Ron,Hermione,Blaise,Theo...The list goes on.Since I invited Hargrid I invited Madam Maxime.Fleur and Bill were also here.I'm such a match maker.Most of the people left after congratulating and having a drink.Mostly the professors."Ula?""Tio Sanchez!Hi!"I gave Diego to his father and hugged him."You remember Shacklebolt?"I nodded."I do.How are you sir?"He smiled."Very well.Thank you.If I hear correctly your uncle had offered you a place in the ministry as the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement and I heard you denied."I sighed."I know it's not going to sound logical but...Diego is just two weeks old.And as much as I love Madrid I've grown to see London as my home.I don't want to leave."

            He smiled."That is why I am offering you the same position but in British Ministry."I chuckled."Wait really?"He nodded."You just gave birth and you don't have to start right away.The paternal leave if 6 months so if you're up for the job...see you in six months?"I shook hands with him."Of course.See you in six months."My uncle and the minister left.I turned to Draco."That just happened?"He nodded with a smile."I should put Diego back in his bed."I got Diego and put him in his cradle.I came back to the party.It was around 10pm when most of the adults either left or returned to their bedrooms.It was us kids now."Come on.The whole ball room is ours."Camila got my hand."We should dance."I scoffed."Bitch bet your ass we will."We opened mostly Spanish songs with Camila.We twerked,belly danced...Basically we seductively danced.

           Everybody joined.We were dancing and drinking at the same time.We were tired at some point and we were all sitting on the floor.Just talking."I miss my son.""Me too."Me and Draco high fived."I'm an Auror."I turned to Ron."You're a what now?Oh this is gold!"I fully turned to Ron."Why?""Because I'm your boss now.I start in six months when my paternal leave is over."He slapped his forehead."Why can't I just get rid of you somewhere?"I rolled my eyes."Come on.You can't be still hating me.Admit it!"He scoffed."Fine.I don't hate you.But I still dislike you."I rolled my eyes."Well some people have to.No one can be liked by everyone.That's just miserable in disgise of perfection."

           It was past midnight when they left and I went up to Diego's nursery."There you are."Draco sat on the floor beside."What's on your mind?""He's amazing.He is absolutely amazing.He's so...perfect and beautiful.He's like an angel from above."My soft lovely voice faded."Then he's going to grow up and forget about us.He's going to have friends and girlfriends.Oh Diego I am begging you don't be a player.With looks like your father you can make the world fall in love with you.I'm not ready for that."Draco chuckled."You do know that I chose to love you among all the other girl in the world that fell for me.Right?"I turned to Draco."I know.And I love you.""I love you too,darling."

16 Years Later

          "Diego you're going to be late!"He came rushing down."Amara!You too!"We got in the car and driver drove four of us to the Hogwarts Express.When we came there we say Harry and Ginny.Their wedding was so cute and nice.We approached them."Chosen one?""Dragon Lady."We hugged."Today is James' first time."I chuckled."Wow.Diego's sixth year and Amara's third.But I still remember their firsts."Draco rolled his eyes."You're lucky Ginny isn't crying."I scoffed."I didn't cry."Both the kids and Draco spoke in unison."You cried waterfalls."I rolled my eyes."You two off the train.If I don't get weekly letters I'll be stopping by weekly."Diego gave me a kiss on the cheek."I'll write mami."I sighed."Where is she?""Right over there."I took a deep breath."Go to your girlfriend Diego."He gave me another kiss and left after thanking me.

         "Girlfriend?""Don't look at me like that Gin.I already don't like the girl.I know she's going to break his heart.I'm just waiting for the right moment to break hers."Ginny laughed at me."That's my girl."We high-fived."Oh God I just remembered the Quidditch try-outs back in our sixth year.Good Lord I'm 35."Harry and Draco rolled their eyes."Rose is starting in two years.""Rose?"Ginny showed me a picture of Rose."Hermione and Ron's daughter.You saw her when she was a baby remember?"I had a realization."She has a younger brother too right?Hugo?"Ginny nodded."Amara go before you miss the train."She hugged us both and left.

          Me,Ginny,Harry,Draco and Harry's other two kids went to an ice cream parlour.Harry made introductions."And Ula this is Albus Severus Potter-""You named your son after my father."He nodded."I'm sorry.I shouldn't have just blurted it out like that."I wiped off the couple tears that fell."No it's ok.It's just...It's wierd hearing his name again."Draco held my hand."This is Lily Luna Potter."I chuckled."Your mom and Luna.I got why Lily but Luna?""You know how Luna is-"We spoke in unison."She's an innocent angel."Me,Harry and Ginny laughed while kids and Draco didn't.We decided to have a gathering in summer when kids were back.

         The gathering went amazing.Everyone from our classes came.It was like a picnic.Kids already knew each other from school.It was a good time.

      I was his goddaughter.Things were never meant to be good for me.It was destined to be doomed.But then I met him.I became his darling.He became my ferret.Now we have our own family.And I couldn't have wish for more.The best thing is...that being his goddaughter didn't stop me from being his darling.
