"Will she be alright doctor?"
Your husband asked the doctor, whispering as though if he spoke any louder it would wake you.
"Maybe, we have to wait and see"
Both men left the room quietly, as if it would matter.
Carrying your son into the car, the doctor gave him some more details before they went home. They would come visit you everyday knowing your strength they never gave up hope.

447 YEARS LATER

Doctor Crusher had all hands on deck, Fleet Admiral Byrn had tasked her with waking his ancient family member.
For 447 years as medicine evolved, doctors kept you alive but it was still a mystery on how you survived this long, and kept looking so young.
Once it was decided that she did all she could, before she woke up Doctor Crusher summoned The Captain and Counsellor Troi, Deanna came because for a time one of your great, great, great, great, great grandchildren had left you in the betazeds care so you'd become a bit of a legend.
Captain Picard decided that until you'd accommodated to your new life style most of the non-human crew would be kept out of your way.
Everyone in the med-bay waited with baited breath as doctor crusher placed the hypospray to your neck.

1st PERSON POV

I slowly opened my eyes, waking up to see a red haired woman leaning over me.
I jumped back in surprise, bumping my head into something above me
"You're alright, my name is Beverly Crusher"
Looking around my eyes adjusted to the bright, bright lights. A bald man approached me quickly.
"My name is Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS enterprise"
He reached his hand out for a handshake and I took it, he looked down a little unsure and I immediately pulled away.
"Oh no, it's alright"
He smiled warmly
"Where's my husband?"
The tone shifted immediately, everyone became stiff and refused to look me in the eye.
"This may be a bit Hard to hear and I'm sorry but you've been asleep for almost 440 years. Your husband and your children are long dead"
Curling into a ball, I couldn't begin to control myself as I sobbed nothing felt real, not anymore.
After about an hour of tests, Doctor Crusher declared that I could leave, but after not moving for a few centuries I was given a cane and a security officer who told me to call him James was by my side constantly.
At first I was taken to my temporary quarters where a new man showed up and started to explain things around the room.
"This is the computer"
He smiled proudly,
"What's a computer?"
His smile faltered, before he turned and pressed a few buttons.
"A mechanical apparatus capable of carrying out complex mathematical operations at high speed. Computers are used to control, process, or store information."
A female voice spoke out of no where, making me jump back. He laughed, pressing a few buttons again and making the computer stop.
"Can I ask you something?"
He asked as he calmed down, his tone shifting slowly.
"Go ahead, I don't mind"
"What year were you born?"
"1890"
"So you were 28 when you crashed?"
"I crashed?"
He turned and pushed a few buttons and that voice spoke again
"Y/n l/n, born in November 1890, crashed her car on the side of the road in March 1918 4 years after the birth of her second son Joseph"
I listened, hearing those details jogging my memory

Humming quietly, i drummed my fingers against the car wheel as rain beat down on the car roof.
I pressed on, nothing had gone wrong yet when the small figure of a child ran out in the street.
Out of Reflex I jerked the wheel to the side, the road was so wet and slick I felt the wheels snap in half sending the car flying.
And then darkness.

Coming back to reality, he was waving his hands in front of my face.
"Are you alright?"
I nodded, unable to form words.
"Sorry, was hearing that to much?"
"No.. I just-just, I want to know if this computer can tell me what happened to them"
"You mean your family?"
I nodded, and he asked
"What are your sons names?"
"Joseph Frank L/n, and Harry Dryden L/n"
He typed away like he was using a type writer and then abruptly stood up.
"When you're ready, press this button and the computer should read out to you what happened"
He motioned to a square key on this smaller pad.
He spoke for about 5 more minutes, explaining just a few little things around the ship.
"Wait, if I wanted to talk to you again who should I ask for?"
"Just ask for Commander Riker"
